Not grasping and not seeing things as real, this itself can show form as it truly is. Similarly, feelings, etc., up to all-knowingness should also be understood in this way. Subhuti, the reason for saying that "Prajnaparamita gives rise to the Tathagata" is that, relying on Prajnaparamita, the Tathagata does not grasp the characteristics of all dharmas, and truly realizes the reality of all dharmas, and therefore becomes the Tathagata. Therefore, it is shown that this profound Prajnaparamita gives rise to the Tathagata. Question: World Honored One, how does one show for the sake of not seeing form? And how does one show for the sake of not seeing all-knowingness? This is Subhuti's question to elaborate on the meaning of "showing because all dharmas are invisible" mentioned above. The World Honored One said: Subhuti, when consciousness that focuses on form does not arise, it is showing for the sake of not seeing form. And when consciousness that focuses on all-knowingness does not arise, it is showing for the sake of not seeing all-knowingness. This is Subhuti's detailed explanation of the meaning of "showing because all dharmas are invisible." Among them, "when consciousness that focuses on form does not arise, it is showing for the sake of not seeing form" means that, through practicing and meditating on this Prajnaparamita, abandoning inverted views and knowledge, and not generating inverted attachment and grasping of characteristics for the form of what is completely imputed, at that time, because one sees and realizes the true meaning, one can truly show the suchness of form, therefore it is said "showing for the sake of not seeing form." For example, a person with cataracts sees tangled hairs and other phenomena, and therefore generates consciousness that focuses on this. Later, after the cataracts are cleared, erroneous consciousness will not arise, just as it is shown.

Similarly, feeling and so on, up to the point of all-knowingness, should also be applied in this way. Subhuti, thus, it is said that this profound Prajnaparamita generates the Tathagata and shows the world, because the Tathagata, relying on the reasons mentioned above, and based on this profound Prajnaparamita, has thoroughly understood all dharmas as they are. Therefore, it is shown that the profound Prajnaparamita generates the Tathagata and shows the world. Furthermore, Subhuti, how does Prajnaparamita generate the Tathagata and show the world, and so on? This is because Prajnaparamita briefly shows that all dharmas are emptiness, so it is said to generate the Tathagata and show the world. Subhuti, in this regard, Prajnaparamita is said to show in the world. What does it show in the world? If asked, from saying "form is empty" in the world, up to saying "all-knowingness is empty" in the world, it means that from form and so on, up to all-knowingness, all dharmas are said and shown to be the nature of emptiness in the ultimate sense. Subhuti, thus, it is said that Prajnaparamita generates the Tathagata and shows the world, because the Bhagavan has understood the meaning of speaking and showing that all dharmas are emptiness from this profound Prajnaparamita, and thus has become the Tathagata. Therefore, it is said that Prajnaparamita generates the Tathagata and shows the world. Furthermore, Subhuti, Prajnaparamita shows the world as empty to the Tathagata, says the world is empty, and makes people understand the world is empty. Subhuti, thus, it is said that Prajnaparamita generates the Tathagata and shows the world, because from this Prajnaparamita, all the dharmas of the world

Because it explains and shows the nature of emptiness, it becomes the Tathagata. Therefore, it is said that this Prajnaparamita is the one that produces the Tathagata and shows the world. Subhuti, furthermore, the Prajnaparamita shows the Tathagata as the world is empty, etc. Because this Prajnaparamita elaborately explains that all dharmas are the nature of emptiness in the ultimate sense, it shows that it produces the Tathagata and shows the world. How does it show the world as empty? From showing that form is empty in the world, etc., to showing that all-knowingness is empty in the world, it elaborately shows that the dharmas from form, etc., up to all-knowingness are the nature of emptiness in the ultimate sense. Because the Bhagavan has realized it, and thus becomes the Tathagata, it shows that this Prajnaparamita is the one that produces the Tathagata and shows the world. Subhuti, furthermore, the Prajnaparamita shows the Tathagata as the world is inconceivable, etc., until it shows that the world of all-knowingness is inconceivable. Because this profound Prajnaparamita shows that all dharmas are without substance in the ultimate sense, because it is not the object of mind and mental factors, it explains that it produces the Tathagata and shows the world through showing the inconceivable. Prajnaparamita, etc., the six Paramitas, etc., up to all-knowingness, by calling the supramundane dharmas as the world, it means to realize from all the dharmas belonging to the nature of imputation, therefore it is called the world. Subhuti, furthermore, this profound Prajnaparamita shows the Tathagata as the world is secluded, etc., until it shows that the world of all-knowingness is secluded.
