The reason for saying this is that the Tathagata is grateful for the Prajnaparamita, making offerings and showing respect, which is not contrary to the sacred Dharma, and is the meaning of a virtuous person who possesses the sacred Dharma and reason. Why is that? Subhuti, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, all arise from this Prajnaparamita, which is to show that it is reasonable to make offerings and show respect to the Prajnaparamita. The Tathagatas of the three times, past, present, and future, also attain the unsurpassed Bodhi because they have practiced and become accustomed to this Prajnaparamita, therefore it is reasonable to make offerings and show respect. Subhuti, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha is the one who knows what has been done. The Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha refers to remembering what has been done. The reason for saying this is that the Tathagatas of the three times all arise from this Prajnaparamita, and the Tathagatas are grateful for the Prajnaparamita, making offerings and showing respect, which is to show knowing the kindness and remembering what has been done. Subhuti, if someone correctly says "knowing and repaying kindness," then that is correctly saying "the Tathagata knows the kindness and remembers what has been done." Because in the world, there is no one other than the Tathagata who can be as grateful and unforgetful as the Tathagata. Therefore, if someone says that the Tathagata knows the kindness and remembers what has been done, then that is correctly saying, speaking the truth. Subhuti, how is the Tathagata knowing the kindness and remembering what has been done? Subhuti, the vehicle on which the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha relies, and through which path one attains the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, the Tathagata serves, respects, reveres, and makes offerings to that vehicle and that path, and
