That which is called "Profoundly Manifesting Perfect Enlightenment" means that, having understood the profound Prajñāpāramitā, which transcends all attachments to characteristics, and then extensively revealing its meaning, the characteristic of emptiness, to sentient beings, is the meaning of revealing after understanding the profound characteristic, which is extremely rare. O Blessed One, thus the profound Prajñāpāramitā becomes the realm of activity for the Tathāgatas, Arhats, and Perfectly Awakened Ones, up to "perfectly distinguishing all characteristics," which means that the Blessed One understood the profound meaning of Prajñāpāramitā, became the realm of activity, and having practiced it, manifested perfect enlightenment in unsurpassed Bodhi, and then separately revealed the characteristics of all dharmas in conventional truth, possessing supreme skillful means and wisdom, which is extremely rare. From "the characteristic of form" to "perfectly distinguishing the characteristic of all-knowingness is extremely rare," it only reveals the names of the dharmas that perfectly distinguish the characteristics of whatever dharmas. After asking in this way, the Blessed One, acting according to desire, spoke to the sons of the gods who have form but do not enjoy it: Sons of the gods, form is the characteristic of being destructible. The Tathāgata manifests perfect enlightenment in this absence of characteristics, and so on, which means that after revealing what the respective characteristics of the dharmas are in conventional truth, in ultimate truth, it reveals the understanding of those without characteristics. Among them, "form is the characteristic of being destructible" means that because of being obstructive, others can destroy form. "The Tathāgata manifests perfect enlightenment in this absence of characteristics" means that in conventional truth, although the characteristic of form is destructible, in ultimate truth, because it is empty of inherent existence, the Tathāgata understands the meaning of absence of characteristics. The meaning of manifesting perfect enlightenment in this absence of characteristics is the same for all the following, such as feeling.

Should be added. Feeling is the nature of experiencing, that is to say, because it is the nature of experiencing the three aspects of happiness, suffering, and neither happiness nor suffering. Cognition is the nature of grasping, that is to say, because it grasps names and characteristics, and so on. Formation is the nature of manifestly forming, that is to say, because it distinguishes virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral actions. Consciousness is the nature of knowing individual distinctions, that is to say, because it differentiates the individual distinctions of the six objects. The aggregates are the nature of suffering, that is to say, because they change into sickness and old age, and so on. The realms are the nature of suffering, that is to say, because the six objects, six faculties, and six consciousnesses gather together, from which contact and feeling arise, which are the cause of samsara. The sources are the nature of the gate of arising, that is to say, because the six consciousnesses arise dependent on the twelve sources. Dependent origination is the nature of aggregation, that is to say, because the causes and conditions gather and combine to produce the result. Generosity, the perfection of giving, is the nature of completely giving away, that is to say, because it completely gives away material goods and Dharma to those who desire material goods and Dharma. Discipline, the perfection of morality, is the nature of being without affliction, that is to say, because it abandons killing and so on, and possesses discipline, oneself, both in this life and the next, will be without suffering and discomfort of body and mind, and there will be no harm or affliction to other sentient beings. Patience, the perfection of forbearance, is the nature of being without disturbance, that is to say, because one possesses patience, the minds of both oneself and others will be without disturbance. Diligence, the perfection of effort, is the nature of being invincible, that is to say, because one has distributed the power of diligence, one will not be overwhelmed or defeated by demons and obstacles. Contemplation, the perfection of meditation, is the nature of correctly gathering, that is to say, the mind is equal.
