Therefore, Shariputra asked. The Blessed One said, from "Not timid, completely not timid. Not fearful, not alarmed, not afraid, such people are not many," it refers to the end of the last five hundred years, when many people enter the Bodhisattva Vehicle and practice and believe only through asking, reciting, and so on, the Prajnaparamita, but after hearing the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita, that is, all dharmas are unborn, those who do not become timid, do not fear or are afraid are few. Why is that? Because those sons and daughters of good families have followed many Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Enlightened Buddhas, and those sons and daughters of good families have completely asked and inquired of many Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Enlightened Buddhas. This is to say that after hearing the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita, the reason why few people do not become timid, do not fear or are afraid. Therefore, when explaining the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita, those who do not become timid, do not fear or are afraid, who have previously served and revered many Tathagatas, and have asked many Tathagatas about the meaning of the profound Dharma without doubt, after hearing this profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita, will not become timid, nor will they fear or be afraid, therefore such people are few. Why is that? Because those sons and daughters of good families will perfect the Prajnaparamita, up to the perfection of the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, it also shows the reason why few people do not fear or are not afraid after hearing the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita, and the benefits of not fearing or being afraid after hearing the profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita. When explaining such a profound meaning of the Prajnaparamita, the mind becomes timid.

Those sons or daughters of good family who do not turn back and are not afraid will later be able to fully possess all the pure dharmas up to the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha, such as the six perfections. Such great benefit is rare and scarce, that is its meaning. Sharadvati's sons and daughters of good family will be guided by the roots of virtue, etc., also in the last five hundred years, those who have faith and practice this profound Prajnaparamita, what benefits will arise in this life, what merits have been accumulated in previous lives, and what benefits will arise in future lives are shown. Being guided by the roots of virtue means that due to the cause of generating roots of virtue in previous lives, one's own benefit will be perfectly fulfilled in this life. The statement that one will act for the benefit of many beings for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment shows the qualities of being able to perfectly accomplish the benefit of others in both this life and the next. Why is that? Because, Sharadvati's sons and daughters of good family, I have spoken of the words endowed with all-knowingness. In the past, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas जितने (jitne, how many) who appeared, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also spoke to those sons and daughters of good family of the words endowed with all-knowingness, which shows the merit of having served many Buddhas in previous lives. Even though they have passed away, they will still practice for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, which shows the benefit of being able to perfectly accomplish one's own benefit in future lives. They will also speak to others in the same way about unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, which shows the benefit of being able to perfectly accomplish the benefit of others in future lives, that is,

Saying "it will be spoken of" means "will attain unsurpassed enlightenment." Sharadvatiputra, those sons and daughters of good family will be placed in equality, which means that in both this life and the next, they will not be dominated by objects such as desire, but the benefit of being able to abide in meditation and samadhi is revealed. Even the maras or gods of the retinue of maras cannot turn them away from unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, so what need is there to mention others who are devoted to evil and practice evil abandoning this profound Perfection of Wisdom? This reveals the benefit that maras and others cannot create obstacles to virtue. Sharadvatiputra, those sons and daughters of good family who are of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, having heard this profound Perfection of Wisdom, will generate great joy and comfort, which means that having realized the profound Dharma, the benefit of generating great faith will be revealed. In this way, for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, many beings will also be placed in virtuous Dharma, which means that the benefit of being able to generate faith in the Holy Dharma in other sentient beings is revealed. The sons and daughters of good family said this in my presence, up to "I will give the prediction of non-retrogression," which reveals the merit of vowing to accomplish the benefit of others perfectly in the presence of the Tathagata in previous lives. What is the reason for that? Sharadvatiputra, the words of those sons and daughters of good family, having looked at their minds with my mind, I rejoice, which means that the Tathagata trusts the merit of those who have vowed and promised to accomplish the benefit of others perfectly, and who can act as they have said. Sharadvatiputra, even in the presence of the past Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfect and Complete Buddhas, the words of those sons and daughters of good family, having looked at their minds with my mind
