It is taught that if there is no perception and no conceptualization, then one is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Sharadvatiputra, from "Whatever is unfathomable about form, that is not form" to "Whatever is unfathomable about all-knowingness, that is not all-knowingness," there is no perception of unfathomability and no conceptualization regarding all phenomena such as form. This is the reason why practicing the Perfection of Wisdom is taught. The statement that all phenomena such as form are unfathomable refers to non-existence. Whatever is non-existent does not exist in the nature of form and so forth, and therefore is not an object of conceptualization. Thus, non-conceptualization itself is the practice of the Perfection of Wisdom, which is what is being taught. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, if they do not engage with the idea that "form is immeasurable," then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. From "if they do not engage with the idea that all-knowingness is immeasurable," then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Because all phenomena such as form are empty of inherent existence, there is no perception of "immeasurability" and no conceptualization, then one is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, which is what is being taught. Why is that? Sharadvatiputra, from "Whatever is immeasurable about form, that is not form" to "Whatever is immeasurable about all-knowingness, that is not all-knowingness," there is no arising of the perception of immeasurability and no conceptualization regarding all phenomena such as form. This is the reason why practicing the Perfection of Wisdom is taught. The statement that all phenomena such as form are immeasurable refers to non-existence. Whatever is non-existent does not exist in the nature of form and so forth, and therefore is not an object of conceptualization. Thus, non-conceptualization itself is the practice of the Perfection of Wisdom.

This is for the sake of understanding. Sharadvatiputra asked: "O Blessed One, this Prajnaparamita is so profound," from "to properly attend in mind" to "will properly attend in mind," it is explained that this profound Prajnaparamita, if explained to those who have newly entered the Great Vehicle and have not yet become familiar with the meaning of the Great Vehicle, it will become a fault; if explained to the non-retrogressing Bodhisattvas, it will become a virtue. This also shows that this Prajnaparamita is so profound that it is not the object of practice for all. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, said to the venerable Sharadvatiputra, "Thus he spoke" to "It is also difficult to attain complete enlightenment in the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, there is such a place," between, the fault of explaining the profound Dharma to those who are not vessels is explained in detail by distinguishing the aspects of explaining this profound Prajnaparamita to the Bodhisattvas who have newly entered the Great Vehicle. From "Indra said" to "will be prophesied until the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment," it is explained that because the profound meaning is not explained to the Bodhisattvas who have newly entered the Great Vehicle, therefore, the Prajnaparamita should be explained to the non-retrogressing Bodhisattvas. Asking whether there are those who are neither newly entered into the Great Vehicle nor non-retrogressing Bodhisattvas, who, when explaining the profound meaning of Prajnaparamita, are not afraid, not terrified, and can become vessels. The answer is that there are such people, who are neither newly entered into the Great Vehicle nor non-retrogressing Bodhisattvas, some of them, after hearing the profound meaning of Prajnaparamita, are not afraid, not terrified, and also have the opportunity to quickly receive prophecy, which is what is to be explained. Then, the Blessed One said to the venerable Sharadvatiputra, from "teaching" to "has attended and honored many Buddhas," it is explained that they are neither newly entered into the Great Vehicle nor non-retrogressing Bodhisattvas.

Those who become Bodhisattvas are also capable of becoming vessels for this profound Prajñāpāramitā. In order to make the retinue believe what was said above, the Blessed One explained it in detail with reasons. Sharadvatiputra asked: Blessed One, please tell a metaphor, I dare to ask. From "sons and daughters of good families are known to be irreversible from unsurpassed perfect enlightenment" to "they should be known to be irreversible," this passage shows that those who practice Prajñāpāramitā are not ordinary beings, but irreversible Bodhisattvas. Blessed One, for example, someone comes from a wilderness a hundred yojanas away, from "Why is this? Because viewing, worshiping, and hearing this profound Prajñāpāramitā is a precursor to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment" to "Why is this?" This passage shows that believing in and diligently practicing this profound Prajñāpāramitā will surely achieve unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, which is a metaphor. The wilderness is a metaphor for samsara, and towns and cities are metaphors for nirvana. The Blessed One said: Sharadvatiputra, it is so, it is so. Sharadvatiputra, you should still generate courage with the power of the Buddha. This is to make the retinue believe that the previous metaphor was also explained by the power of the Buddha, praising "very good," and then saying "the following metaphor should also be explained by the power of the Buddha." Asked: Blessed One, for example, someone wants to see the great ocean, from "After hearing, one can also hold, analyze, read, fully understand, and properly attend to it" to "should know to do so," this passage shows that the Bodhisattva who believes in and diligently practices this profound Prajñāpāramitā, even if not personally predicted to unsurpassed enlightenment,
