The so-called purity is because the sky is empty in its nature, and does not speak or act of speaking. Similarly, the Prajnaparamita is also empty in its nature in the ultimate truth, and does not speak or act of speaking, therefore it is completely pure. This is what is to be expressed. Question: World Honored One, how is it that because the sky is unspeakable, the Prajnaparamita is completely pure? This is a question asked to elaborate on the meaning of being completely pure because it is unspeakable, which was briefly stated. The World Honored One replied: Subhuti, there is nothing that can be spoken of in the sky. Subhuti, similarly, because the sky is unspeakable, the Prajnaparamita is completely pure. This is to show that both the sky and the Prajnaparamita are empty in their nature, and are not of the nature of being spoken of and speaking, therefore they are completely pure. Subhuti, furthermore, because the sky has no object of focus, the Prajnaparamita is completely pure. This is to show that both the sky and the Prajnaparamita are empty in their nature, therefore they are not objects to be focused on and objects of focus, so the Prajnaparamita is completely pure. Question: World Honored One, how is it that because the sky has no object of focus, the Prajnaparamita is completely pure? This is a question asked by Subhuti to clarify the above meaning. The World Honored One replied: Subhuti, there is nothing in the sky that can be taken as an object of focus. Subhuti, similarly, because it is without object of focus like the sky, the Prajnaparamita is completely pure. This is to show that just as there is nothing in the sky that can be taken as an object of focus and an object of focus, there is also nothing in the non-discriminating Prajnaparamita that can be taken as an object of focus and an object of focus. Because it is not tainted by the faults of the grasped and the grasper, the Prajnaparamita is completely pure. Subhuti, furthermore, all dharmas are without arising and without ceasing, etc., good

Because all phenomena are extremely pure, the Perfection of Wisdom is completely pure. Up to this point, because all conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are empty of inherent existence in ultimate truth and are extremely pure, there is no birth, cessation, etc. Similarly, the Perfection of Wisdom is also empty of inherent existence in ultimate truth, and because there is no birth, cessation, etc., it is completely pure. This is how it is explained. Subhuti asked: "Bhagavan, any son or daughter of good family," from "any" to "the accumulation of merit will increase greatly, immeasurably, incalculably, inconceivably, incomparably, unmeasurably, unfathomably, and exceedingly," is how it is explained that the Perfection of Wisdom is extremely completely pure. Then, in order to generate faith in this completely pure Perfection of Wisdom, the qualities that benefit this life and transform into merit are explained. The rest is self-explanatory. "One will not die without abandoning discomfort" means that one will not end one's life due to sudden suffering such as poison and weapons. "On the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days, a great gathering of gods will occur" means that wherever the Perfection of Wisdom is taught, great powerful worldly gods will descend and bless during the six periods, gathering and coming for this purpose. The twenty-third is called the eighth day of the waning moon, the twenty-ninth is called the fourteenth day of the waning moon, and the full moon is called the fifteenth day of the waning moon. The sutra mentions the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days because it includes both the waxing and waning moons, so these six periods should be known. Subhuti, why is that? Just like this, from "the Perfection of Wisdom is a jewel" to "arising complete and perfect enlightenment," the qualities that benefit future lives are explained. Why is that? It is because, like this, the ten virtues arise from the Perfection of Wisdom.

From "showing the path of the ground extensively" to "having omniscience," it shows the reason for benefiting future lives. That is, in this way, from this Prajñāpāramitā, all dharmas are extensively shown. If one studies this, there will be great and high royal families, and so on, up to the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha. Therefore, it is called the Ratna-Pāramitā. Up to this point, it shows the reason why the Prajñāpāramitā mentioned above is a treasure, and how it is a treasure. For example, wherever the wish-fulfilling jewel treasure is, all wealth, needs, and perfections will gather and exist. Similarly, from this Prajñāpāramitā, all pure dharmas are extensively shown. Therefore, it shows that it is called a treasure because it gives rise to all perfections of the world and beyond. In that treasure-like Pāramitā, there is no dharma that is born, ceases, is defiled, is purified, is to be taken, or is to be abandoned. Why is that? Because, in this way, there is no such dharma that is born, ceases, is defiled, is purified, is to be taken, or is to be abandoned. That is, as mentioned above, Prajñāpāramitā is the cause of arising all perfections, therefore it is said to be a treasure. In order to dispel the attachment of some people to inherent existence, it is shown that in the ultimate sense, there is no inherent nature of birth, cessation, defilement, purification, taking, or abandoning. Subhuti, from "this treasure-like Pāramitā, is it virtuous or non-virtuous" to "Subhuti, by those names, the Ratna-Pāramitā is without object," it shows that in the ultimate sense, this treasure-like Pāramitā is also without object for dharmas such as virtue and non-virtue, showing that it possesses the qualities of being without object. Subhuti, for the treasure-like Pāramitā, no dharma
