Until the end, it shows expertise in the various aspects of the realm of Dharma. Being skilled in causes and conditions means that the actions of non-Buddhists such as the powerful ones are not causes and conditions, but being skilled in the causes and conditions of karma and afflictions, and so on. Being skilled in the absence of conditions means being skilled in the fact that the conditions contemplated by non-Buddhists are not conditions. Being skilled in the realm of conditioned phenomena means being skilled in the fact that mundane phenomena, the world, and supramundane things arise from the aggregation of causes and conditions. Being skilled in the unconditioned means being skilled in the fact that suchness and so on are not made by the aggregation of causes and conditions. Being skilled in realms means being skilled in the three realms. Being skilled in the absence of realms means being skilled in the fact that in the ultimate sense, the three realms are without substance. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva is skilled in not focusing on form. Being skilled in not paying attention to it means that, with regard to form and so on, up to the attainment of omniscience, all phenomena are without substance in the ultimate sense. Having realized that nothing is an object of attention, one becomes skilled in not paying attention to any of those phenomena. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva is skilled in the fact that form is empty of form. The meaning of this and so on is that, with regard to form and so on, up to the point of omniscience, those phenomena are without substance in the ultimate sense, and one becomes aware that they are empty of their own nature. Being skilled in the path of thorough training means being skilled in the characteristic of making body and mind serviceable through the mundane path, which is called thorough training, and being skilled in the blissful state. Being skilled in the untrained means making body and mind serviceable through the supramundane path, and being skilled in not being attached to the bliss of the untrained. Being skilled in arising and ceasing and so on means being skilled in the nature of arising and ceasing, and of changing from abiding, being skilled in attachment, hatred, and delusion, and in the nature of the absence of those, being skilled in the causes of the views of non-Buddhists, and in the absence of those views, being skilled in the nature of phenomena such as name and form, and in cause and effect.

This is to show the benefits of transformation and so on. The question, "How should one practice the Prajñāpāramitā, O Bhagavan?" and so on, is because it has been said before that practicing the Prajñāpāramitā, realizing the Prajñāpāramitā, and meditating on the Prajñāpāramitā, one should know that these are good. This is asking about the distinctions between practice, realization, and meditation. The Bhagavan replied, showing the distinctions between them by saying, "Form is peaceful," and so on. One should realize that the five aggregates, such as form, are peaceful, dependent, hollow, and without essence. It has been shown that one should practice the Prajñāpāramitā. Among them, peaceful means that by the ultimate nature, it is emptiness, without arising and ceasing, and so on. Dependent means that things cannot exist. Hollow and without essence are synonyms for the non-existence of things. By realizing the emptiness of space, one should realize the Prajñāpāramitā. This is to show realization. It has been shown that one should realize that all dharmas are empty like space, and thereby realize the Prajñāpāramitā. Meditating on various meditations, one should meditate on the Prajñāpāramitā, which means that meditation itself is also broken down into emptiness, and by meditating on non-existence, one meditates on the meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā. The initial practice refers to the stage from the stage of faith and conduct to the first bhumi, which is the stage with effort and with characteristics. After that, realization refers to the stage from the first bhumi up to the seventh bhumi, which is the stage with effort but without characteristics. Further after that, meditation refers to the stage from the eighth bhumi onwards, which is the stage of spontaneous accomplishment and abiding in the absence of characteristics. The question, "O Bhagavan, for how long should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practice the Prajñāpāramitā in order to practice the Prajñāpāramitā?" is asked in order to clearly explain that meaning. From the initial generation of the mind, approaching
