Since all phenomena up to omniscience are without substance, it is shown that they are neither associated nor disassociated with anything. The realm of the conditioned is neither associated nor disassociated. The realm of the unconditioned is neither associated nor disassociated. This means that all the phenomena mentioned above, such as form, up to omniscience, are enumerated one by one. In order to summarize the meaning of the extensive explanation, or to benefit sentient beings who rejoice, the realms of the conditioned and the unconditioned are summarized and explained. Why is this? Because there is no such nature as being associated or disassociated. The reason for this is that if something exists, it can be said to be associated or disassociated. However, in the ultimate sense, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence. Since there is no thing, there is no possibility of being associated or disassociated. This is the conclusion. Subhuti, this is the summary of the Prajnaparamita of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. This is the way it is said above, that all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, and because there is no thing, they are not associated, nor are they disassociated. The meaning of what is said is that all phenomena are summarized as being of one taste in emptiness. This has reached the ultimate end of removing all the obscurations of knowledge and affliction, and has reached the other shore of all meanings and is complete, so it is called the other shore. Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who are beginners should study this summary of the other shore. This is the meaning of emptiness, which is summarized and explained. Bodhisattvas who abide on the ground of adhimukti-carya should also study it with adhimukti-manaskara. The so-called beginner refers to the Bodhisattva who abides on the ground of adhimukti-carya. Bodhisattva Abiding on the ten bhumis of the Bodhisattva, one should also study this summary. This means that those who abide on the first to the tenth bhumis of the Bodhisattva should also study the meaning of this summary in the way of realizing suchness. This is what is shown.

The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who studies this condensed meaning will understand the sutras and elaborations of all dharmas. This is to show the benefits of studying the meaning mentioned above. The request, "Bhagavan, this is realized by Bodhisattva Mahasattvas with sharp faculties," is because there are many beings with varying sharp and dull faculties in the retinue. Some with dull faculties think, "Such profound meaning is not within our reach." To dispel their lazy minds, they asked this. The Bhagavan said, "Subhuti, this is also realized by Bodhisattva Mahasattvas with dull faculties." Etc., this means that this profound condensed meaning is accessible to all, regardless of their faculties. Those with great faith, diligent practice, and a desire to learn can all learn and realize it. There is no one who cannot realize it. Only the lazy, those with weak diligence, those with impaired mindfulness, and those with distracted minds cannot realize it. Among them, the lazy are those who are attached to other non-virtuous things. Those with weak diligence are those who do not delight in virtue. Those who wish to study the irreversible stage, those who wish to attain omniscience, will realize it. This is to say that above it says that wanting to learn will lead to realization, here it distinguishes the object of wanting to learn. If one studies the Prajnaparamita as taught, etc., it means that as mentioned above, one studies the Prajnaparamita and perfects the six paramitas. If one wants to attain omniscience, one will gain the benefits of being unassailable by demons and being remembered and blessed by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Why? Because the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present all arise from these six paramitas.

This is to show the reason for the blessing: The Buddhas of the three times also became Buddhas by learning the Prajñāpāramitā, so when Bodhisattvas learn the Prajñāpāramitā, they should think like this and give blessings. Therefore, Bodhisattvas, great beings, practice the Prajñāpāramitā, etc., because the Tathāgata's qualities, the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, etc., are all obtained by the Buddhas of the three times in the past, present, and future by learning the Prajñāpāramitā. Therefore, if I also learn the Prajñāpāramitā, I will obtain these dharmas. If I generate such a mind and strive, I will quickly attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. One should not be separated from the intention of all-knowingness, and one should strive to practice this Prajñāpāramitā. If a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva practices in this way for the sake of attaining all-knowingness, even if he only recites the Prajñāpāramitā a little when he is young, the merit of that Bodhisattva Mahāsattva will greatly increase, etc. This is to show that in the three thousand great thousand worlds, placing all sentient beings in the undefiled aggregates and placing them in the fruits of stream-entry, etc., is not as good as merely being accustomed to reciting the Prajñāpāramitā. This is a great meritorious benefit with reason. Subhuti, furthermore, reciting a few verses or a few days, etc., is to show that in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, placing all sentient beings in samsara in the five undefiled aggregates and placing them in the fruits of stream-entry, etc., is not as good as practicing and meditating on the Prajñāpāramitā. This is a meritorious benefit with reason that greatly increases merit. The reason for this is also because of meritorious deeds.
