Thus it is taught. Delightful one, whatever son or daughter of good family, from "wisdom" onwards, to "Delightful one, that son or daughter of good family should be known as having done deeds for the previous victorious ones, generated roots of virtue, and been fully taken hold of by virtuous spiritual friends," is to say that in previous lifetimes they have practiced the perfection of wisdom and cultivated various roots of virtue, therefore in this life they will practice this perfection of wisdom, otherwise others will not do so. Delightful one, some sons or daughters of good family, even if they generate roots of virtue from the Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, will not be deceived, but may become Śrāvakas or Pratyekabuddhas, from "may become Śrāvakas or Pratyekabuddhas" to "should be thoroughly understood by practicing all-knowingness," is to say that whatever roots of virtue are generated, it seems inevitable that the fruits of the three vehicles will be attained, however, the nature of all dharmas must be thoroughly understood, and before attaining unsurpassed perfect awakening, one should not fall into the state of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. In order to clearly explain that meaning, from "A Bodhisattva Mahāsattva who thoroughly understands should practice the perfection of generosity" to "practicing all-knowingness will not become a Śrāvaka or Pratyekabuddha," this is explained. Delightful one, therefore, I entrust this profound perfection of wisdom to you, from "entrust to you" to "is close to all-knowingness," is to say that the perfection of wisdom is superior to all other sutras, and the qualities equal to the Tathāgata are described, in order not to let it decline, it is entrusted and exhorted. Why is that? Delightful one, from the perfection of wisdom arises the unsurpassed perfect awakening of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, from "unsurpassed perfect awakening" to "Delightful one, therefore, whoever desires to manifestly and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed perfect awakening, and to train in the six perfections,"

A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who desires to practice should train in this profound Prajnaparamita, and in between, it explains the reasons for studying, offering, serving, and not abandoning the Prajnaparamita. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have appeared in the past, future, and present, and the Bodhi of those who reside in the ten directions, also arise from this Prajnaparamita, therefore one should study the Prajnaparamita and should not abandon it. This is what is to be explained. Why is that? O Joyful One, for example, Prajnaparamita is the mother of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, the one who gives birth. This explains the reason for studying the profound Prajnaparamita, that is, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas also attain their respective positions by relying on this Prajnaparamita, and because of this cause, they attain the unsurpassed Bodhi, therefore one should study it. This is what is to be explained. O Joyful One, any Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who studies the six Paramitas, all of them will attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. O Joyful One, therefore I repeatedly entrust these six Paramitas to you, and subsequently entrust them to you. In between, it is explained to clarify the meaning mentioned above. Thus, this Prajnaparamita is what gives rise to the Bodhisattvas, therefore it is indispensable to study, it will not decline, it will abide for a long time, and for the sake of widespread propagation, it is entrusted to you. This is what is to be explained. Why is that? O Joyful One, from the treasury of the Dharma of the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly and completely enlightened Buddhas, until complete Nirvana, and will attain complete Nirvana, it means that relying on this Prajnaparamita, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the three times, and their retinue of Shravakas, all attain their respective positions because of this Prajnaparamita, and relying on it, they teach the Dharma.

Thus it is said. Mañjuśrī, if you teach the Dharma of the Lesser Vehicle to individuals of the Hearer Vehicle, from "beginning with the Hearer's Ground" to "becoming a Hearer's practitioner," even if all sentient beings in the three-thousand great-thousand world system become Arhats, compared to a Bodhisattva merely teaching a few words of the profound Prajñāpāramitā, the latter is of greater benefit. Mañjuśrī, what do you think? The previous teaching, from "the previous teaching" to "causing the roots of virtue of all sons and daughters of noble families of the Hearer and Solitary Realizer Vehicles to be overshadowed," even if all sentient beings in the three-thousand great-thousand world system simultaneously become Arhats, the merit obtained through giving, keeping vows, and meditating, compared to speaking about the Prajñāpāramitā for a very short time, such as a few days, half a day, a few hours, a few minutes, a moment, or a brief instant, the latter's merit is greater. Why is that? Because, in this way, he himself also wishes to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, from "wishing to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment" to "it is impossible to regress from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, because that is impossible," this is explaining the reason why speaking about the Prajñāpāramitā has greater merit. Explaining the Prajñāpāramitā accomplishes the complete benefit of oneself and others, and it is impossible to regress from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. When the Prajñāpāramitā is being spoken, from "when the Prajñāpāramitā is being spoken" to "Mañjuśrī, all dharmas are without knowledge, invisible, and without power to act," in order to explain that one should not consider all dharmas to have inherent existence, using the example of a miraculous transformation leaving no trace, it is explained that all dharmas are also without inherent existence. Why is that? Mañjuśrī, all dharmas are like space, without an agent, so there is no agent and no holder, from "no agent and no holder" to "without essence,"
