It is (so), it is Subhuti who answered the question. In the ultimate meaning, abiding in suchness, manifestly and completely awakened into unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, and teaching the Dharma, there is nothing like that, this is what is to be shown. Why is that? Subhuti, whether the Tathagatas appear or not, from "even what to say about the one who teaches the Dharma, that is nowhere," it shows the reason for suchness and abiding in suchness becoming non-existent. All dharmas are without substance and empty of self-nature, not becoming emptiness through destruction, but are originally so. Therefore, there is nothing that abides in this suchness. This is its meaning. The forty-ninth chapter of the Holy Hundred Thousand Prajñāpāramitā is complete. Fiftieth chapter, the chapter on non-attachment. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, asked the Blessed One as follows, from "not being deluded is difficult to do," it is that in the ultimate meaning, there is no dharma to be grasped, and in the conventional sense, one also wants to manifest and completely awaken into Buddhahood. Such a person with attachment cannot do it, therefore it is difficult to practice. This is praise for the Bodhisattva who practices the profound Prajñāpāramitā. Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Lord of the Gods, Indra, from "Thus, the Dharma taught by the Venerable Subhuti is also without attachment," it is that Indra said it was difficult to practice, and Subhuti taught that it is not difficult to be fearless about the emptiness of all dharmas, and Indra praised Subhuti for teaching the profound Dharma. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, asked the Blessed One as follows, from "Will the Dharma nature of holding the Dharma be truly prophesied, will it be prophesied?" it is that above, Indra said that the Bodhisattva who practices the profound Dharma is difficult to practice, and the Venerable Subhuti.

Whatever is proclaimed, all of that is proclaimed based on emptiness, without attachment to anything. Thus it was said. I ask, does what the Blessed One said agree with this? Does it accord with the Dharma? I ask this. The so-called "Dharma of guarding the Dharma," Dharma refers to the Dharma of Nirvana, and guarding the Dharma refers to practicing the Dharma of Nirvana, which refers to the Noble Path. Does what I said agree with this? I ask this. From "The Blessed One proclaimed" to "will prophesy the Dharma of guarding the Dharma," it is said that what Indra said earlier agrees with what the Blessed One said, and does not contradict the Dharma nature. The Blessed One proclaimed this. Indra reported: Blessed One, whatever this venerable Subhuti proclaims, all of that is proclaimed based on emptiness, and even proclaiming based on omniscience is very wonderful! From this passage to "proclaiming based on omniscience is very wonderful!" it is said that Subhuti is a Shravaka, but he understands the profound and vast conduct of Bodhisattvas, and proclaims it to others, which is very wonderful! This is praise for Subhuti. The Blessed One proclaimed: Kausika, the venerable Subhuti practices emptiness, and even the minor marks are not seen, so how much more so would there be minor marks on his body? From this passage to "how much more so would there be minor marks on his body?" it is said that the venerable Subhuti practices the profound and vast conduct of Bodhisattvas in this way, therefore, both all the pure Dharmas such as the six perfections that are practiced, and the individuals who practice these Dharmas, are not seen. Therefore, the venerable Subhuti proclaims the pure Dharmas such as the six perfections in this way. This is the Blessed One's teaching. Why is that? Kausika, the venerable Subhuti practices the solitude of all Dharmas, and cannot be exemplified by numbers, arithmetic, counting, or metaphors and causes. From this passage to "cannot be exemplified by numbers, arithmetic, counting, or metaphors and causes," it is said that although the venerable Subhuti possesses such profound and vast conduct, the Bodhisattva's practice of Prajnaparamita cannot even approach one hundredth of it, and so on.

This is the teaching on the excellence of the conduct of Bodhisattvas. Why is that? From "not understanding the conduct of the Tathagata" to "the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha who has abandoned all the afflictions of habitual connection will become a Buddha," it explains that the Bodhisattva's practice of Prajnaparamita is a more excellent reason than the practice of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. How does a Bodhisattva practice Prajnaparamita, just as that, Subhuti cannot fulfill it, and the Bodhisattva is superior by special aspiration, and will not be transferred by the practice of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, that is its meaning. Then, from "the gods of the Thirty-Three from within that assembly" to "O Bhagavan, by this root of virtue, by the pure conduct that is not the field of activity of all Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, may we be able to practice," it explains that the Bodhisattva who practices Prajnaparamita, as the Bhagavan said, is more excellent than the practice of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the gods of the Thirty-Three and one hundred and sixty monks abide in the assembly, and after hearing it, the gods made great offerings, and the monks also made great offerings, and then the monks wished, may we be able to practice the pure conduct of Prajnaparamita, which is more excellent than the practice of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and explained the prophecy. Then, from "The Bhagavan understood my thoughts" to "The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wants to practice the conduct of the Tathagata should practice Prajnaparamita," it explains that the one hundred and sixty monks developed faith in the practice of Prajnaparamita, and the aspiration is also combined with the prophecy in this way, the practice of Prajnaparamita is so powerful and will fulfill all thoughts, so it should be practiced.
