From "Moreover, sentient beings are solitary" to "Because all-knowingness is solitary, therefore it is said that sentient beings are solitary," it shows the reason for the aforementioned statement that sentient beings are solitary, that is, all dharmas from form, etc., up to all-knowingness, are empty by nature in the ultimate truth, and are solitary. Sentient beings are empty by nature and solitary, that is the meaning. From "Because form is solitary, the perfection of wisdom is solitary" to "Because all-knowingness is solitary, the perfection of wisdom is solitary," it is to dispel the thought of some people in the retinue who think that the perfection of wisdom has substance, and to show that the perfection of wisdom also has no substance, and is solitary. Sons of the gods, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not become discouraged when explaining that all dharmas are solitary, does not become completely disheartened, and his mind does not become frightened, then the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is practicing the perfection of wisdom. This means that the perfection of wisdom has no substance now, and if he is not afraid because of explaining solitude, and his mind is not disheartened, then he is practicing the perfection of wisdom in the conventional truth. Then, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: Subhuti, why does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva not become disheartened with the perfection of wisdom? This is because Subhuti explained the reason for not being disheartened, and the Blessed One spoke for the benefit of sentient beings who should be tamed. The Blessed One said, because all dharmas do not exist, why? Blessed One, this is because all those dharmas that would be disheartened, and that which causes discouragement, and that which is disheartened by, all of those do not exist, there is no object of focus. This passage is Subhuti showing the reason for not being disheartened, that is, all dharmas are solitary in the ultimate truth.

I. Because of peace and non-arising, whatever person would be afraid, and for what reason would be afraid, and all those dharmas for what things would be afraid are non-existent and invisible, so there will be no fear, this is its meaning. Blessed One, if the Bodhisattva Mahasattva says so without fear or terror, from "all those dharmas that would be afraid of are non-existent," it is to clearly understand the meaning mentioned above, repeated and summarized. Blessed One, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in that way will be worshiped by the gods including the powerful ones, including Brahma, and including the Lord of Beings, from "until the complete perfection of all knowledge," is the meaning of the Buddhas' intention. Thus, there is no fear for showing the objectless Dharma, and the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajnaparamita will be worshiped by the gods of the desire realm and the form realm, and the benefits of the intention of the Tathagatas of the ten directions are shown. Subhuti, any Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Prajnaparamita, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who is intended by the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, should be known to have entered into Buddhahood. This means that the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajnaparamita, the one who is intended by the Tathagatas of the ten directions, will surely become a Buddha. Subhuti, in the realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, how many sentient beings exist, all of them become evil demons, from "as it is said, it is solitary, it is the intention of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones," Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Prajnaparamita, possessing those two dharmas, cannot be overcome by the evil demons. This is the Prajnaparamita.

Moreover, Bodhisattvas who practice in that way are regarded by the Tathagatas of the ten directions, and they also realize that all dharmas are empty in nature. With great compassion, they do not abandon all sentient beings, and they guard their true vows. As they have promised and spoken, they diligently practice, and demons cannot create obstacles, showing such benefits. Subhuti, the sons of the gods will also come to the place of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in that way, thinking: Sentient beings will receive light from the darkness, and thus they will generate joy. From this until "they will generate joy," it shows that the Tathagatas regard the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajnaparamita in that way, and the gods of the world will also come to teach and generate joy. Why is that? Because, from "Just like this, in immeasurable and countless worlds" until "preaching the Dharma in a way that fully proclaims their names and lineages, and especially praising and extolling them," it shows the reason why the sons of the gods generate joy. That is, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who reside in immeasurable worlds, also regard the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajnaparamita, and praise them by name and lineage, and preach the Dharma. Therefore, the sons of the gods also come to his place and generate joy. Subhuti, just as I am now, until "preaching the Dharma, and especially praising and extolling them," it shows the example of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of immeasurable and countless worlds preaching the Dharma and praising the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajnaparamita. For example, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha praised Bodhisattvas named Ratna Sri and Crested One by name for practicing the Prajnaparamita, and preached the Dharma and praised them, as well as the Bodhisattvas who practice the Prajnaparamita who reside in the presence of the Tathagata Akshobhya.
