Speaking from the name of the earth, it is like teaching the Dharma and praising, that is its meaning. How many Buddhas, Bhagavat, abide and protect in the eastern direction, and how many Buddhas, Bhagavat, abide and protect in the upper direction, and all those Buddhas who teach the Dharma, there, how many Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas practice pure conduct, are inseparable from the Prajnaparamita, teach the Dharma in a way that makes them happy, and also especially proclaim, up to here, it is considering the Bodhisattvas who practice the Prajnaparamita, showing the Dharma-nature of making them happy. The Tathagatas of the ten directions also, in their respective Buddha-fields, consider the Bodhisattvas who abide and practice the Prajnaparamita, and make them happy. Therefore, for those Bodhisattvas who practice the Prajnaparamita in this way, the Buddhas, Bhagavat, consider and make them happy in this way, that is its meaning. From the moment a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva generates the first thought, until the attainment of omniscience, for all the situations of practicing the path to enlightenment, the Buddhas, Bhagavat, teach the Dharma in a way that makes them happy, and also especially proclaim, this is not to say that the Tathagata only considers the practice of the Prajnaparamita, but rather that from the moment a Bodhisattva generates the first thought, practicing in accordance with the Prajnaparamita, thereby training in the path to enlightenment, for these people, the Tathagata will also consider and generate joy, this is what is to be shown. Why is that? Subhuti, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have entered for the sake of not interrupting the lineage of the Buddha, these are difficult to practice, because the reason for practicing the path to enlightenment in this way and achieving Buddhahood is to not let the excellent Dharma decline and disappear, such a goal is something that others cannot do, so it is difficult to practice. Therefore,

Those Buddhas regard and gladden those Bodhisattvas, that is the meaning. Asked, Blessed One, do those Buddhas show the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas as regressing, or not regressing, or by what name do they proclaim them? This is because, for the Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom, the Buddhas regard and gladden them, so do they do this for the non-regressing Bodhisattvas who are completely pure? Or do they also regard other Bodhisattvas who are not yet completely pure? To dispel the doubts that arise in some of the audience, Subhuti asked this question. The Blessed One said, etc., which means that when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom properly, the Buddhas and Blessed Ones regard and gladden both the completely pure and the not completely pure Bodhisattvas. Asked, Blessed One, who are those? Even those who believe in the absence of essence. Even for those who have not yet attained the tolerance of non-arising dharmas, the Buddhas and Blessed Ones teach the Dharma in a way that gladdens them, and especially praise them, even especially praise them, which refers to asking what respect the Tathagata has for the Bodhisattvas who are not yet completely pure, and pointing out who they are. The Tathagata Akshobhya, and practicing in the manner of the Bodhisattva Ratnakirti, also refers to practicing this profound Perfection of Wisdom. Practicing in this way, the Tathagatas will also regard the Bodhisattvas who are not yet completely pure, and some Bodhisattvas who are not yet completely pure will realize that all dharmas are unborn, empty, peaceful, unaccumulating, ungrowing, and without essence. Although they believe in this, if those who have not yet attained the tolerance of non-arising dharmas practice this profound Perfection of Wisdom, the Tathagatas will also regard them, that is the meaning. Subhuti, for which Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, even, they abide in Suchness.

Through diligently applying oneself to Suchness, up to the point of abiding in Omniscience, this section reveals the benefits of a Bodhisattva practicing Prajnaparamita being remembered by the Tathagata. Through this, they abandon the stages of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas and will be prophesied to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, abide in the irreversible stage, and attain Omniscience. Thus, if one develops faith in Prajnaparamita, even without attaining the stage of an Arya, one can later rely on a spiritual friend, gradually abide in the irreversible stage, and diligently apply oneself to Suchness, thereby possessing many benefits of attaining Omniscience. This is the meaning. Praying, "O Bhagavan, abiding in Suchness, diligently applying oneself to Suchness, if one does not perceive any Dharma," from "abiding in Suchness, let alone teaching the Dharma" up to "that is without a place," this section is about the benefits of practicing Prajnaparamita shown above, in which it is said, "abiding in Suchness, diligently applying oneself to Suchness, one will abide in Omniscience." In response to this, in order to dispel the thought of some in the audience that there exists a Suchness to be attained and that the Bodhisattva who attains Suchness is real, if one does not perceive Suchness or any other Dharma apart from Suchness, then who will abide in Suchness and attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and who will teach the Dharma? This is what was asked. The Bhagavan replied, "Subhuti, as you said..." up to "Subhuti, it is so, it is so, as you have said." This section is where the Bhagavan repeated the words spoken by Subhuti and affirmed, "What you have asked is all true." Subhuti, if one abides in Suchness... up to "let alone abiding in Suchness and teaching the Dharma, that is non-existent."
