Therefore, although one realizes that all phenomena are empty of inherent existence in the ultimate sense, one does not directly realize emptiness. Through skillful means, in the conventional sense, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, one views that there are completely afflicted and purified phenomena. Such a practitioner, in the conventional sense, although engaging in all phenomena such as form, in the ultimate sense, does not view them as real and engage in them. This is the meaning. Why? Because, like this, all the phenomena that are engaged in, that engage, and that are the object of engagement are all unobtainable. This shows the reason for not engaging in all phenomena in the ultimate sense. Because all phenomena are empty of inherent existence in the ultimate sense, the agent, the object, and the cause of engagement are all unobtainable. World-Honored One, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in this way is invincible by the world with gods, humans, and asuras, and so on, up to the words "approaching omniscience." This shows that the Bodhisattva who practices with such skillful means cannot be harmed by all the world, cannot be overcome by all Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and the benefit of approaching omniscience. The World-Honored One said: "Subhuti, if all the sentient beings in Jambudvipa were to obtain human bodies without any sequence," and so on, this shows that all the sentient beings in Jambudvipa and the four continents, and the thousand worlds, two thousand worlds, and three thousand great thousand worlds, all become Buddhas at the same time, and with offerings and reverence, etc., those roots of virtue are also dedicated to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, the merit of explaining and attending to this Prajnaparamita for others is even greater. That is, to explain, teach, differentiate, extremely differentiate, interpret, distinguish, clarify, and truly explain to others, etc., is to explain.

should also be understood as a category. Subhuti, if all the sentient beings of Jambudvipa were to simultaneously obtain human bodies. Some of those sons or daughters of good family, with "being well placed in the path of the ten virtuous actions," etc., all the sentient beings of Jambudvipa and the four continents, as well as the thousand worlds, the two thousand worlds, and the three thousand great thousand worlds, would simultaneously transform into human bodies. They would all be placed in the path of the ten virtuous actions, etc., and the merit of dedicating that root of virtue entirely to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment would also show the merit of surpassing showing and explaining this Prajnaparamita to others. Subhuti, the bodhisattva mahasattva who practices in that way, from "practicing with the thought of possessing all-knowingness" to "wanting to generate the unsurpassed eye of wisdom, one should always abide continuously with the thought of possessing Prajnaparamita," what is said in between is that in the manner described above, by practicing through showing and explaining this Prajnaparamita to others, and with the thought of possessing all-knowingness, the benefits of practicing are shown. Its benefits are that it becomes the place of giving for all sentient beings, possesses the four immeasurables, possesses the great light of the six perfections, and even if one does not manifest perfect complete enlightenment, it becomes the place of giving for all sentient beings, does not turn back from unsurpassed enlightenment, makes the giving of the patrons who give clothes and alms, etc., completely pure, and becomes close to all-knowingness. Therefore, wanting to obtain those benefits, wanting to make the alms received from the land have fruit, wanting to guide all sentient beings, etc., one should always continuously with the thought of possessing Prajnaparamita

This is the teaching on how to abide in not abandoning (the Prajñāpāramitā). If a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva, with a mind engaged in the Prajñāpāramitā, even if not acting in a discriminating manner, will not cut off the opportunity for other mental engagements, just as mentioned above, even if unable to completely perfect the mental engagement with the Prajñāpāramitā, will not cut off the opportunity for the mental engagements of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, this is what is being taught. Therefore, in any case, one should not abandon the mental engagement with the Prajñāpāramitā day and night, and should abide in diligence, which means one should not abandon the mental engagement with the Prajñāpāramitā, but should strive diligently, that is its meaning. Subhūti, for example, from "one should not make the jewel of all-knowingness empty" to "in that way, one will always have happiness and mental happiness, and be endowed with much mental happiness," is a metaphor for not constantly abandoning the mental engagement with the Prajñāpāramitā, meaning that if one does not abandon the mental engagement in this way, one will always have much mental happiness. The request: "Bhagavan, all these mental engagements are devoid of inherent existence," etc., is because, as mentioned above, the mental engagement corresponding to the Prajñāpāramitā and all-knowingness is not separate, and in order to dispel the notion of some in the audience that such a mental engagement is real, Subhūti asked this question. The Bhagavan taught, from "Subhūti, it is like this, the Prajñāpāramitā is empty of inherent existence, there is no increase in it, and there is no decrease," meaning that not abandoning mental engagement should not be understood as mental engagement with something real. From the ultimate point of view, all dharmas are empty of inherent existence, not created by anyone, but abiding in the nature of suchness and the Dharmadhātu, etc., recognizing this is not abandoning mental engagement. The request: "Bhagavan, if the Prajñāpāramitā is inherently
