Furthermore, such as "Subhuti, in this," etc. To be approached is to not abandon completely. To be relied upon means not to abandon completely at the time of teaching the Dharma. To be approached and revered should be to rely upon. If asked what these should do? The answer is: it is "Whoever in this." "Instructing" means entering into the meaning of practice. "Revealing accordingly" means the meaning of completely combining practice. The nature of the instructions spoken is "Whoever," etc. Furthermore, who are these virtuous friends? For this reason, it is said, "They are," etc. If asked how they show the meaning for this? The answer is: it is "To them, it is said like this," etc. Saying like this means in these ways. From "You come here," etc., up to "Do not be attached." This practice of the Prajnaparamita has four aspects: namely, practicing the six paramitas, and fully maturing into perfect enlightenment, and not clinging to excellent characteristics, and not generating desire for other realms. The first spoken is "In the perfection of generosity," etc. "Yoga" means union or diligence. The second spoken is "All of them." The third spoken is: "Do not be arrogant in form," which means do not grasp with the nature of form, with the view of discrimination. "Not being arrogant" means not discriminating with all dharmas. "Completely purifying" means habituation. The fourth spoken is: "Son of good family, you should not be arrogant in form. Subhuti, thus," etc., is a summary. Now, abiding in Subhuti, for all the dharmas that are empty of self-nature, not desiring the cessation that depends on oneself, and for the bodhisattvas who strive for unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, practicing austerities, it is said, "Bhagavan, nourishing the practice of austerities," etc., which is the generosity of such a nature. It is to completely cultivate the Prajnaparamita.

I have become free, and this is because I am very familiar with the path. Here, it is said that compassion itself is the cause of preventing falling into Nirvana, which means it is very painful. Now, the Blessed One, in that very moment, for the benefit of the world, for happiness, for love, as a protector, refuge, place, friend, island, light, guide, and support, by arranging closely, propagates it, just like that and so on. For the sake of benefiting, with the thought of completely departing from the five paths of beings and abiding in the fearless place, And, it should be understood as a category that becomes the cause of attaining the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. The venerable Subhuti asked: "Blessed One, what is the characteristic of the Perfection of Wisdom?" This is because it has already been said above that one should study this Perfection of Wisdom. Among the retinue, some say that one should study this Perfection of Wisdom. He asked in order to eliminate the idea that this Perfection of Wisdom is something real. The Blessed One replied: "Subhuti, the characteristic of being unformed like the sky is the Perfection of Wisdom." This means that the Perfection of Wisdom is without substance in the ultimate sense, and is similar to the sky. Subhuti, the characteristic of the Perfection of Wisdom is non-existence, which means that because it is like the sky, it does not exist as the characteristic of any dharma. The statement that the Perfection of Wisdom has no characteristic whatsoever means that the Perfection of Wisdom is empty of inherent existence, so it has no characteristic whatsoever. He asked: "Blessed One, by what characteristic, is there such a category that by the characteristic possessed by the Perfection of Wisdom, all dharmas will be possessed?" This is to distinguish the occasion of showing that all dharmas are empty of inherent existence and empty of self-nature, are all dharmas the same as the Perfection of Wisdom? That is what it means. The Blessed One

The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, it is just so. It is just so. By whatever characteristic the Perfection of Wisdom exists, by that very characteristic all phenomena exist. That is the Perfection of Wisdom, and all phenomena are also similar in being without characteristics and being emptiness." This is what was shown. In order to show that same thing clearly, why is that? "Subhuti, all phenomena are devoid of inherent existence," from that point on, like this, the characteristic of emptiness and the characteristic of devoidness, by whatever characteristic the Perfection of Wisdom exists, by that characteristic it is said that all phenomena exist. The Perfection of Wisdom and all phenomena are devoid of inherent existence, and are similar in being empty of inherent existence, that is the meaning. Subhuti asked: "Blessed One, if all phenomena are also devoid of all phenomena," from that point on, to "Blessed One, how should I understand the meaning of that teaching?" In between, like this, if all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, all those teachings that the Blessed One has shown to sentient beings, abandoning the side of afflictions and accomplishing the side of purification, thereby manifestly and completely awakening to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, if all of those are without entity, empty of inherent existence, then how should one understand that meaning?" The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, what do you think? Have sentient beings been engaging with 'I' and 'mine' for a long time?" From that point on, to "Since there is no complete affliction in that, Subhuti, in that case, there is purification for sentient beings." In between, ultimately, all phenomena are devoid of inherent existence and empty. Sentient beings have not understood it that way, but cling to signs and wander in samsara. In order to lead them, conventionally, it is merely asserted and spoken that there is complete affliction and purification, but ultimately, there is nothing at all. That is the meaning. Asked: Blessed One, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in that way does not practice in form, from this sentence begins, until does not practice in all knowingness.
