Not manifesting fabrication, not arising, not ceasing, without things, merely familiar in the mind, not manifesting, if answering in this way, because the answer is in accordance with the irreversible Bodhisattva, know that this is the prediction of unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva asks in this way, predict like this, and should not be completely familiar with emptiness, from the irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, like stepping on irreversible ground, know that it is not stepping on weak ground, until in between, when practicing the six perfections and so on, if asked how not to manifest the true edge, if saying not to be completely familiar with the three doors of liberation and not manifesting fabrication, etc., because the answer does not match the question of the irreversible Bodhisattva, know that this is not the prediction of unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, the irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, like stepping on irreversible ground, is not stepping on weak ground, the so-called weak ground, the order of the ground of the Hearers refers to the ground of the once-returner, the order of the ground of the Bodhisattva refers to above the second ground, below the seventh ground, the irreversible Bodhisattva stepping on the eighth ground, refers to abandoning all characteristics and naturally accomplishing, like this, the Bodhisattvas who have not been predicted have not stepped well on the weak ground, this is the meaning. World Honored One, is there any category that can be irreversible? This is asking, without obtaining the order of the Bodhisattva ground, from what to observe the irreversible? The World Honored One taught: Subhuti, there is, if the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva has heard or not heard the six perfections, answering truthfully like the irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattva

Even bodhisattvas who have not attained the stages of the path have faith in the profound Dharma, and those who answer questions in accordance with the irreversible bodhisattvas will later become irreversible, which is what is being taught. O Blessed One, for that purpose, there are many who practice towards enlightenment, but few who answer like irreversible bodhisattvas, great bodhisattvas, residing in a fully trained stage or a not fully trained stage, which means that becoming irreversible is rare. The fully trained stage refers to the stage of practice with faith. The not fully trained stage refers to not even having attained the stage of practice with faith. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is just so. These cannot be taken away by the world with gods, humans, and asuras. Chapter Forty-Five of the Hundred Thousand Verses of the Holy Perfection of Wisdom. Chapter Forty-Six, the Chapter on Abandoning Discrimination. The above explains the reason why it is rare to become an irreversible bodhisattva: those who have previously accumulated great roots of virtue and accumulated the accumulations of merit and wisdom, these people can answer questions in accordance with the irreversible bodhisattvas, and later they will also become irreversible bodhisattvas, and these people will not be overwhelmed by the world of gods, humans, and asuras, and will not regress again, which is the meaning to be expressed. Then, the Blessed One again said to the venerable Subhuti, starting from "it is like this," he explained the examination of the characteristics of the irreversible bodhisattva: Subhuti, if a bodhisattva, a great bodhisattva, even in a dream, from "it is like this," to "views all dharmas as being like illusions, and does not manifest them, Subhuti, that is the characteristic of the irreversible bodhisattva, the great bodhisattva, and should be known," refers to any bodhisattva who, even in a dream, does not generate desire for the stages of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and does not regard the three realms as virtues, but views all dharmas as being like dreams, echoes, images, mirages, etc.
