From "The giving that is practiced with the Perfection of Wisdom is also without manifestation, that is, it appears as emptiness" to "diligently studying the emptiness of the nature of non-things," this is the answer to Subhuti's question, grasping the key point. Because it is inseparable from the Perfection of Wisdom, one diligently studies the meaning of the eighteen emptinesses. Therefore, all practices such as giving are also without any object of focus due to the complete purity of the three circles. One will see emptiness as empty, hollow, and without essence, thereby increasing merit in the ultimate sense, or generating correct views, etc., without any need for action. Thus it is taught. From "Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in those emptinesses" to "Thus, thus, immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable merit will increase," it is said that although in the ultimate sense, there is no manifestation due to the complete purity of the three circles, it is also inseparable from the Perfection of Wisdom. By the blessing of the Dharmadhatu and the power of past aspirations, even without conceptualization or discrimination, it is naturally accomplished, and the accumulation of immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable merit is not non-increasing. Question: World Honored One, what is the difference and distinction between immeasurable, countless, and boundless? This is the question posed by Subhuti to clarify that in the ultimate sense, all phenomena are without substance and cannot be exhausted by number, measure, or scale. The World Honored One replied: Subhuti, the term "countless" means that it is not even close to being counted in the realm of conditioned or unconditioned phenomena. This means that in the ultimate sense, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, and one cannot count and definitively say: these belong to the number of conditioned, these belong to the number of unconditioned. The meaning is that it cannot be exhausted by words. Subhuti, the term "inconceivable" means that one does not fixate on the measure of phenomena that have arisen in the past, future, and present.

The action is, in terms of the ultimate truth, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, and the nature of the phenomena of the three times is also such, which is immeasurable by wisdom, as stated. Subhuti, the so-called immeasurable, means that which cannot be measured, that is, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, so it cannot be measured by scales and so on. Question: Blessed One, by what aspect is form also immeasurable, unmeasurable, and without limit? And is there such an aspect that even consciousness is immeasurable, unmeasurable, and without limit? This passage says that just as the increase of merit has quantity, is measurable, and is without limit, the five aggregates are also not truly existent in the ultimate truth, so it is said to have quantity, be measurable, and be without limit. In order to distinguish their differences, Subhuti asked. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, by what aspect, even consciousness is countless, immeasurable, and without limit, is there such an aspect? This passage says that considering that all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, it is said that the five aggregates have aspects, are measurable, and are without limit, and there is such an aspect. Question: Blessed One, by what aspect is form also immeasurable, unmeasurable, and without limit? And is even consciousness immeasurable, unmeasurable, and without limit? This passage says that in order to explain in detail that the nature of the five aggregates such as form is empty, therefore the meaning of quantity, measurability, and limitlessness, Subhuti asked in order to open the topic. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, form is also emptiness, therefore it is immeasurable, unmeasurable, and without limit. Even consciousness is also emptiness, therefore it is immeasurable, unmeasurable, and without limit. This passage says that the five aggregates such as form have quantity, are measurable, and are without limit, and also because all five aggregates are empty of inherent existence, therefore they are immeasurable, unmeasurable, and without limit, as stated. Question: Blessed One, is only form empty? Or is only consciousness empty? Is it
