Up to "...", it shows the profound Dharma of non-origination as mentioned above. Shariputra rejoiced and showed that such a profound Dharma of emptiness is not the realm of speculation. Suchness, non-erroneous suchness, etc., should be understood as synonyms of emptiness. Among them, from "Form is unattainable, the suchness of form is unattainable" to "How can the suchness of all-knowingness be seen and attained?", it shows the profound reason for the emptiness of the nature of the Dharma realm, that is, for emptiness, from form, etc., to all-knowingness, all the fabricated dharmas and the nature of the perfectly established nature of these dharmas are also unattainable, so it is the meaning of profound. The Blessed One said: Son of Sharadvati, it is so, it is so, suchness is profound, in which form is unattainable, the suchness of form is unattainable...", until "How can the suchness of all-knowingness be seen and attained?", Shariputra's request and meaning, once again elaborated on the self-nature of emptiness, the nature of suchness, such profoundness is true. When the son of Sharadvati expounded suchness, non-erroneous suchness, and the chapter of non-different suchness, two hundred monks were liberated from the outflows without attachment, until when this profound chapter was expounded, two hundred monks abandoned the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of cultivation, and were liberated from the mind without taking the next existence in samsara, becoming Arhats. Five hundred nuns, in all dharmas, gave rise to the Dharma eye without dust and free from defilements, that is, after abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing, they obtained the eye of wisdom by the path of seeing, and abide in the meaning of the fruit of entering the stream. Five thousand Bodhisattvas and gods and humans, etc.

The phrase "obtaining the highest tolerance for the arising of phenomena" indicates that among the five thousand Bodhisattvas and gods and humans, some realized that all phenomena are without arising, and thus attained the eighth Bodhisattva ground. The phrase "sixty Bodhisattvas subject to falling away" refers to those whose minds are liberated from defilements without grasping. It means that because Bodhisattvas are unskilled in means, they practice the six perfections with signs and attachment. These sixty Bodhisattvas, without attaining the Bodhisattva ground, liberate their minds from the afflictions of the three realms, do not take up future aggregates, and attain the fruit of Arhatship. Sharadvatiputra, these great Bodhisattvas attended and revered five hundred Buddhas, but because they did not enter the Bodhisattva path without fault, they attained the fruits of Stream-enterer, Once-returner, Non-returner, and Arhat. This shows the reason why Bodhisattvas who are subject to falling away fall into the Hearer's ground. Although they practiced the six perfections, they did so with signs and attachment, and because they did not completely purify the three spheres, they did not attain the first Bodhisattva ground, which is called "without fault," but instead attained the fruits of the Hearers. Sharadvatiputra, although the path of these great Bodhisattvas has emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, if they are separated from the Perfection of Wisdom and not fully grasped by skillful means, they will manifest wrong views and become Hearers and Solitary Realizers. This means that if one does not possess skillful means and wisdom, even if one practices the three doors of liberation on the Bodhisattva path, it will be of no benefit, and one will attain the Nirvana of Hearers and Solitary Realizers. The question, "Bhagavan, for what reason?" up to "relying on skillful means, one will manifestly and completely awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment" is about

Furthermore, although Bodhisattvas may appear to practice the three doors of liberation similarly, the reasons and metaphors for how they become Mahayana or Hinayana depend on whether or not they possess skillful means and wisdom. This was asked by Shariputra to the Bhagavan in order to thoroughly explain this point. The Bhagavan said: Sharadvatiputra, some people lack the mind of all-knowingness and only meditate on emptiness (Tibetan: སྟོང་པ་ཉིད།), signlessness (Tibetan: མཚན་མ་མེད་པ།), and wishlessness (Tibetan: སྨོན་པ་མེད་པ།). Because they have not attained skillful means, they will become Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. This is because they grasp at phenomena as real and having characteristics, and they do not possess skillful means. If they do not possess the mind to attain the wisdom of all-knowingness, even if they practice the three doors of liberation similarly, they will fall into the state of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. This is what is to be shown. Sharadvatiputra, for Bodhisattvas, great beings, who do not depart from the mind of all-knowingness, meditate on emptiness (Tibetan: སྟོང་པ་ཉིད།), signlessness (Tibetan: མཚན་མ་མེད་པ།), and wishlessness (Tibetan: སྨོན་པ་མེད་པ།), and who have attained skillful means, they enter the Bodhisattva path without fault and ultimately realize unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. This is because Bodhisattvas possess skillful means and a vast intention, dedicating all virtuous deeds to attaining the wisdom of unsurpassed enlightenment, all-knowingness. If they practice the three doors of liberation, through the distinction of intention, they can enter the first faultless Bodhisattva ground and ultimately realize unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. This is what is to be shown. Sharadvatiputra, for example, from "for example" to "fall into the state of Shravakas or Pratyekabuddhas" refers to the fact that if one does not possess skillful means and wisdom and does not possess the mind of all-knowingness, one will fall into the state of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. This metaphor is drawn from a bird without wings. Showing the bird's large body means that to realize unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, one must have a vast aspiration, a vast Bodhicitta, and the practice of a Bodhisattva.
