We, the agents, etc., are not existent as real entities. Since they do not exist and are not visible, how could they themselves manifest? Or, how could others apart from them manifest and arise? There is no way. This explains the selflessness of persons. If form is utterly non-existent and invisible, how could it manifest? Starting from this, up to "The Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One is utterly non-existent and invisible, how could it manifest?" it explains that the five aggregates and other worldly dharmas, as well as the six perfections and other supramundane dharmas, are not existent as real entities in the ultimate sense. Since they are utterly non-existent and invisible, how could they manifest? This explains the selflessness of dharmas. The venerable Sharadvatiputra is therefore also called self, but the self is utterly unmanifest. This summarizes the aforementioned meaning. The reason stated above is that since both persons and dharmas are utterly non-existent and invisible, they cannot manifest. The venerable Sharadvatiputra further said, "Are all dharmas also like that, of the nature of non-reality?" etc., which is Shariputra previously asked Subhuti, "Are all dharmas also like that, of the nature of non-reality?" Subhuti repeated this question and explained in detail the reason why all dharmas are of the nature of non-reality. Why is that? Because the venerable Sharadvatiputra said, "The nature arising from aggregation is non-existent." This explains the reason why all dharmas are of the nature of non-reality. That is to say, all dharmas such as form arise from the aggregation of causes and conditions in conventional truth. Whatever arises from the aggregation of causes and conditions is without inherent existence in ultimate truth. Sharadvatiputra said, "Venerable Subhuti, what is the nature arising from aggregation that is non-existent?" This is the nature arising from aggregation that is not

So, generally speaking above, which dharmas are without inherent existence arising from aggregation? This is to ask separately. The answer is, from "Form is without inherent existence arising from aggregation" to "The Buddha's unshared dharmas are without inherent existence arising from aggregation," here Subhuti separates worldly and transworldly dharmas, specifies them by name, and shows that these dharmas are without inherent existence arising from aggregation. Furthermore, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said that all dharmas are impermanent, not separated from anything, etc., which shows that all dharmas are of the nature of non-substantiality through the aspect of impermanence. The answer is, venerable Subhuti, all dharmas are impermanent, not separated from anything, what are those? This is because Subhuti had previously said in general that all dharmas are impermanent, not separated from anything, and Sharadvatiputra asked Subhuti in order to have him explain separately what those dharmas are. The answer is, venerable Sharadvatiputra, form is impermanent, not separated from anything, etc., which shows that from the five aggregates such as form to the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha, all worldly and transworldly dharmas are impermanent, not separated from anything. Among them, hearing the word "impermanence," from the perspective of the Hearer Vehicle such as form, it refers to things from arising to disintegration. However, in this Great Vehicle, the characteristic of impermanence is not shown in that way, but it is said that all dharmas have not arisen from the beginning, and their nature is emptiness, which is called impermanence, that is, it is never established as truly existent, and at all times it is non-existent, which is called impermanence. The so-called "not separated from anything" means that because it is not a truly existent thing, therefore no existing thing will disintegrate. Why is that? Venerable Sharadvatiputra, because in this way, whatever is impermanent is non-substantial and exhausted, which is to show that the meaning of impermanence is non-substantiality, and the reason shown is:
