And being able to realize without obstruction, there is no birth, and because there is no cessation, there is no fear. Knowing the unborn means that under the forbearance of all dharmas being unborn, the wisdom of knowing all dharmas as unborn arises spontaneously. All dharmas are shown in one way, which means that all dharmas are in one way in the nature of suchness, not showing the two extremes of existence and non-existence, permanence and impermanence, and so on. Correctly eliminating conceptualization means that conceptualization is the affliction of the Bodhisattva, therefore, for all dharmas, there is no attachment to all aspects and no conceptualization. Completely eliminating views means deviating from the inferior views of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Completely eliminating afflictions means that there is no connection of rebirth arising in samsara due to the power of the habits of afflictions. The state of tranquility and insight means that not only is there no falling away from the Samadhi of the wisdom of knowing all aspects, but also with insight, all dharmas can be known in all aspects. A tamed mind means that the mind is not distracted or attached to the objects of the three realms. A peaceful mind means that the six senses do not scatter to the six objects, nor are they distracted. Without obstruction means that the Buddha's eyes can know the dharmas of the world and beyond without obstruction. Understanding the occasion for love means that it is not like the love of ordinary people, loving one side and hating the other, but having equanimity towards all sentient beings and entering into a state of equanimity. Going to any field one wishes means that in any Buddha-field where there is a completely pure mandala of the retinue of the Tathagata, they can manifest their bodies and go. Subhuti, these twenty dharmas are what the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should perfect while abiding in the seventh ground, which means that when the Bodhisattva abides in the seventh ground, if these dharmas are perfected, it indicates that they have correctly entered the Great Vehicle. Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva

“The great Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth ground should perfect these four dharmas,” and so on, refers to the dharmas that a Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth ground should perfect. "Understanding the minds of all sentient beings" means that with a single thought, the Bodhisattva knows the minds of all sentient beings and the phenomena arising from them in an instant. "Playing with supernormal knowledge" means that by the power of supernormal knowledge, one travels from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, going to see the Buddhas. "Seeing the Buddha-fields and accomplishing them as seen" means that the Bodhisattva dwells in each Buddha-field and, having seen countless Buddha-fields, abandons even the kingdom of the three-thousand-great-thousand world system in order to accomplish those Buddha-fields as seen, and abides in those Buddha-fields. "Attending to and honoring the Buddhas, and examining the Buddha's body as it truly is" means that for the benefit of all sentient beings, one ripens the sacred Dharma and realizes the Dharma-body as it truly is. "Good son, these four are the dharmas to be perfected" means that if a Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth ground perfects these four dharmas, then he has truly entered the Great Vehicle. Good son, again, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abiding on the eighth ground should perfect four dharmas, and so on, refers to the Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth ground, again, should perfect four dharmas. "Knowing the superior and inferior faculties" means that when abiding in the perfection of the ten powers of the Tathagata and ripening sentient beings, one is skilled in knowing whether sentient beings are suitable vessels for the profound Dharma, and whether their faculties are superior or inferior. "Purifying the Buddha-field" refers to the mind

Because all sentient beings are the basis or cause for becoming Buddhas, purifying the minds of sentient beings completely is called the complete purification of the Buddha-field. The illusion-like samadhi should be practiced again and again, which means that the Bodhisattva understands all dharmas as illusion-like, does not cling to external objects, and merely by abiding in samadhi, can accomplish all activities as desired. Sentient beings' roots of virtue are accomplished, one deliberately contemplates and approaches existence in order to accomplish such a body, which means that the Bodhisattva deliberately contemplates and takes the body of gods, humans, non-gods, etc., which can accomplish the body of sentient beings and increase the virtue of sentient beings, thereby accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings. Subhuti, those four dharmas are what the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abiding on the eighth ground should perfect, which means that if the Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth ground also perfects these four dharmas, it indicates that they have truly entered the Mahayana. Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abiding on the ninth ground should perfect the twelve dharmas, etc., which means the dharmas that the Bodhisattva abiding on the ninth ground should perfect, like this, completely upholding endless vows, how one makes the vow, how one can fulfill it, which means that the Bodhisattva abiding on the ninth ground, because of perfecting the six perfections, in order to make the Bodhisattva's vast aspirations fulfill the benefit of self and others, so as one wishes, one can accomplish as desired. Knowing the languages of gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, etc., which means that by correctly knowing the respective definitive terms, one can know the languages of all sentient beings such as gods and nagas, and teach the Dharma in their languages. And knowing the definitively revealed complete fearlessness and
