Moreover, (the Great Vehicle) does not arise from the three realms, nor will it remain in omniscience. Similarly, the Great Vehicle and omniscience themselves are also without substance, so they will not arise from the three realms, nor will they remain in omniscience. This is what is to be expressed. Subhuti, if someone thinks that the signless dharma will arise, then he is thinking that the emptiness of form will arise. From "If someone thinks that the signless dharma will arise, then he is thinking that the emptiness of form will arise" to "Because the feeling born from the contact of the mind is empty, the feeling born from the contact of the mind is empty," the reason for the emptiness of their own nature is discussed for the things mentioned by the names of worldly dharmas such as the five aggregates. Those (worldly dharmas) do not arise from the three realms, nor will they remain in omniscience. Similarly, the so-called Great Vehicle, from the ultimate truth, is also a signless dharma, and it will not arise from the three realms, nor will it remain in omniscience. This is what is to be expressed. Subhuti, if someone thinks that the signless dharma will arise, then he is thinking that a dream will arise. From "If someone thinks that the signless dharma will arise, then he is thinking that a dream will arise" to "The emanation of the Tathagata, because the emanation of the Tathagata is empty," it is explained for the things mentioned by the names of extremely signless dharmas such as dreams that they do not arise from the three realms, nor will they remain in omniscience. Similarly, the so-called Great Vehicle, from the ultimate truth, is also a signless dharma, and it will not arise from the three realms, nor will it remain in omniscience. This is what is to be expressed. Subhuti, if someone thinks that the signless dharma will arise, then he is thinking that the perfection of generosity will arise. From "If someone thinks that the signless dharma will arise, then he is thinking that the perfection of generosity will arise" to "The self-nature of the Buddha's unmixed dharmas, because the self-nature of the Buddha's unmixed dharmas is empty," the reason for the emptiness of their self-nature in the ultimate truth is discussed for the things mentioned by the names of pure dharmas from the perfection of generosity to the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha. Those dharmas, from the ultimate truth, do not arise from the three realms, nor will they remain in omniscience.

Just as there is no abiding, so too, the Mahayana, which is said to be the Dharma without characteristics in ultimate reality, does not arise from the three realms, nor does it abide in the state of omniscience. This is what is shown. Subhuti, whoever desires the arising of Dharmas without characteristics, that one merely desires the arising of an Arhat who has exhausted the outflows. Up to: The very nature of the Tathagata is empty of the very nature of the Tathagata. Thus, it is shown that the Shravaka Arhats, the Pratyekabuddhas, the Bodhisattvas, and the Tathagatas do not arise from the three realms because they are empty of inherent existence in ultimate reality, nor do they abide in the state of omniscience. Likewise, the Mahayana, which is said to be the Dharma without characteristics in ultimate reality, does not arise from the three realms, nor does it abide in the state of omniscience. This is what is shown. Subhuti, whoever desires the arising of Dharmas without characteristics, that one merely desires the arising of the fruit of stream-entry. Up to: Omniscience is empty of the very nature of omniscience. Thus, it is shown that the Dharmas to be attained by the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas, such as the four fruits of stream-entry of the Shravakas, the self-enlightenment which is the fruit of the Pratyekabuddhas, the knowledge of the aspects of the path which is the fruit of the Bodhisattvas, and omniscience which is the fruit of the Tathagatas, do not arise from the three realms because they are empty of inherent existence in ultimate reality, nor do they abide in the state of omniscience. Likewise, the Mahayana, which is said to be the Dharma without characteristics in ultimate reality, does not arise from the three realms, nor does it abide in the state of omniscience. This is what is shown. Subhuti, whoever desires the arising of Dharmas without characteristics, that one merely desires non-arising. Up to: The emptiness of designation is empty of the inherent existence of the emptiness of designation. Thus, it is shown that names, signs, symbols, expressions, and designations are empty of their own nature in ultimate reality.
