And also for that Great Vehicle, there is neither truly existing nor non-existing, thus it is shown. Subhuti, for example, name is neither existent nor non-existent. Subhuti, similarly, that Great Vehicle is also neither existent nor non-existent. From "the nature of designation is empty by the nature of designation" in between, names and characteristics, etc., which are established in worldly convention, have no entity in ultimate truth, because they are empty of inherent existence, so there is no existence and non-existence, similarly, for that Great Vehicle, there is neither truly existing nor non-existing, thus it is shown. Subhuti, for example, the unborn is neither existent nor non-existent. From "Why is that? Subhuti, it is because, like this, the nature of non-apprehension is empty by the nature of non-apprehension" in between, the unborn and unceasing of all phenomena, and the unpolluted and unpurified, and the non-apprehension, etc., are empty of their own nature in ultimate truth, so there is no existence and non-existence, similarly, for that Great Vehicle, there is neither existence nor non-existence, thus it is shown. Subhuti, by those aspects, that vehicle, by the manner of abiding without abiding, and by the manner of immovability, will not exist anywhere. The manner of abiding without abiding means that the Great Vehicle has no entity in ultimate truth, so it does not abide, but in conventional truth, it will not abide in all-knowingness. The manner of immovability means that the Great Vehicle is empty of inherent existence in ultimate truth, so it does not exist anywhere, similarly, because it does not change from the nature of Suchness, it cannot be transformed and moved by incompatible aspects. Will not exist anywhere means that the Great Vehicle is empty of inherent existence in ultimate truth, so the meaning of not existing anywhere is concluded and shown. Subhuti, whatever you said, "Who will that vehicle cause to appear?" That vehicle will not cause anyone to appear.

Etc., this is the Blessed One, Subhuti asked, who will the Great Vehicle produce? The answer is: the Great Vehicle itself and the Bodhisattvas etc. produced by it, in terms of ultimate truth, there is neither thing nor object of focus, therefore, this vehicle will not be produced by anyone. The Blessed One taught in this way. Why is that? Subhuti, just like this, what is this vehicle, etc., this is to show the reason why it will not be produced. What is this vehicle, refers to the Great Vehicle that will be produced by it. Who will be produced, refers to the Bodhisattva that will be produced by this vehicle. By whom will it be produced, refers to the Dharma that abides in the Dharma that realizes the selflessness of phenomena and persons, and will be produced by it. From where will it be produced, refers to the three realms. All these dharmas are non-existent and unattainable, because the Great Vehicle, the Bodhisattva, the Dharma of realization and the three realms, in terms of ultimate truth, are neither things nor objects of focus, therefore, no dharma will be produced by any dharma, in short, the producer, the produced and the dharma from which it is produced, in terms of ultimate truth, are all non-existent and unattainable, therefore nothing will be produced. This is a brief explanation of its meaning. Why is that? Subhuti, just like this, I am extremely pure, etc., this refers to the self clung to by the non-Buddhists, and the unconditioned dharmas such as the Dharmadhatu, as well as the dharmas belonging to the afflictive aspects such as the aggregates and realms, and all the pure dharmas such as the Paramitas, because they are all unattainable, no dharma will be produced by any dharma. This is what is to be shown. Among them, from I am extremely pure to the seer is unattainable, the selves clung to by the non-Buddhists are truly without things, because they are extremely pure, they are unattainable, therefore nothing will be produced by anything.
