因此,由于字母是进入这种意义的门,所以称为字母的门和进入字母。因此,为了清楚地说明这两个意义,那么什么是字母的门和进入字母呢?“阿”的意思是由于不生,是诸法之门等等。不生,在印度语中称为阿努త్పanna(梵文天城体:अनुत्पन्न,梵文罗马拟音:anutpanna,汉语字面意思:不生)。

Therefore, since letters are the doors to enter into such meaning, they are called the doors of letters and entering into letters. Therefore, in order to clearly explain these two meanings, what are the doors of letters and entering into letters? "A" means that because of being unborn, it is the door of all dharmas, and so on. Unborn, in Indian language is called Anutpanna (梵文天城体:अनुत्पन्न,梵文罗马拟音:anutpanna,汉语字面意思:Unborn). Therefore, since the meaning of unborn can be understood through the door of the letter "A", the letter "A" is the door that shows all dharmas as unborn. "Ra" means that because of being free from dust, it is the door of all dharmas. Being free from dust, in Indian language is called Raja Apagata (梵文天城体:रज अपगत,梵文罗马拟音:raja apagata,汉语字面意思:Dustless). Since all dharmas being free from dust can be understood through the door of the letter "Ra", the letter "Ra" is the door that shows all dharmas as free from dust. "Pa" means that because of showing the ultimate truth, it is the door of all dharmas. The ultimate truth, in Indian language is called Paramartha (梵文天城体:परमार्थ,梵文罗马拟音:paramārtha,汉语字面意思:Ultimate meaning). Since the ultimate truth can be understood through the door of the letter "Pa", the letter "Pa" is the door that makes one understand that in the ultimate truth all dharmas are of one taste. "Ca" means that because death and birth are not observed, all dharmas have no death and birth, so it is the door of all dharmas. Death and birth, in Indian language is called Cyavanopapatti (梵文天城体:च्यवनोपपत्ति,梵文罗马拟音:cyavanopapatti,汉语字面意思:Death and birth). Since it can be understood through the door of the letter "Ca" that all dharmas have no death and birth, the letter "Ca" is the door that shows all dharmas have no death and birth. "Na" means that because of being separated from name, and not having obtained nor lost the nature of name, it is the door of all dharmas. Being separated from name, in Indian language is called Nama Apagata (梵文天城体:नाम अपगत,梵文罗马拟音:nāma apagata,汉语字面意思:Nameless). Since it can be understood through the door of the letter "Na" that all dharmas are separated from name and have no nature of name, the letter "Na" is the door that shows that in the ultimate truth all dharmas are separated from name. The so-called "not having heard nor lost the nature of name" refers to the dharma that can be designated as a name, and the name itself, which in the ultimate truth is not established as real, because there is nothing that can be designated as a name, so it is said "not obtained". Because there is no name that can be discarded, it is said "not lost". Like this, the words of the mantra letters

These are the five syllables. It has been shown that the so-called "A RA PA TSA NA" is the door through which wisdom and evil dharanis arise, enabling the realization of the unarisen nature of all dharmas in the ultimate sense through each syllable. Similarly, the other words of the dharani mantras are also shown to be the door through which all dharmas are shown to be devoid of inherent existence in the ultimate sense through each syllable. The so-called syllable "La" is the door of all dharmas because it transcends the world and has perfectly destroyed the cause and condition of the creeper of craving, and so on. In the language of India, transcendence of the world is called "Lokottara," and because the nature of suchness is completely pure in the ultimate sense, it is transcendence of the world, which can be realized through the syllable "La." The so-called creeper of craving is called "Trishna Lata" in the language of India. Because it is possible to realize through the syllable "La" that all dharmas are free from the bonds of craving in the ultimate sense, the syllable "La" is the door of all dharmas. The so-called syllable "Da" is the door of all dharmas because it is tame and completely certain in the place of taming. Taming is called "Danta" in the language of India. The afflictions and actions that cannot be tamed are devoid of inherent existence in the ultimate sense, which can be realized through the syllable "Da." Thus, if one realizes that what cannot be tamed is devoid of inherent existence, then one will be completely certain in taming and the place of taming. Therefore, the syllable "Da" is the door of all dharmas. The so-called syllable "Ba" is the door of all dharmas because it is free from bonds. Bonds are called "Bandhana" in the language of India. Because it is possible to realize through the syllable "Pa" that all dharmas are free from bonds in the ultimate sense, the syllable "Ba" is the door of all dharmas. The so-called syllable "Da" is the door of all dharmas because it is free from disturbance. Disturbance is called "Dama" in the language of India. Because it is possible to realize through the syllable "Da" that all dharmas are free from disturbance or confusion in the ultimate sense, the syllable "Da" is the door to realizing that all dharmas are free from disturbance. The so-called syllable "Sa" is the door of all dharmas because without attachment, attachment will not arise, and it will not become a bond.
