In order to show that this is not permissible, it was said, "Form is not bound, not liberated," and so on. Then, the venerable Maitreya's son said to the venerable Subhuti, "Venerable Subhuti, is form not bound, not liberated?" and so on. This was to re-examine the meaning and words of Subhuti's statement that "the five aggregates are not bound, not liberated," so he asked, "Is it so?" He replied, "Venerable, yes, it is so. Venerable, form is not bound, not liberated," and so on. Subhuti replied that the five aggregates are not bound, not liberated. Maitreya's son said, "Venerable Subhuti, like that, what form is not bound, not liberated?" and so on. This was to ask in order to distinguish the occasions when the five aggregates, having become like dreams, etc., are shown to be not bound, not liberated. He replied, "Venerable, whatever form is like a dream, that is not bound, not liberated," and so on. This is to say that the five aggregates are like dreams, illusions, echoes, mirages, reflections, mirages, and apparitions. Such forms, etc., are not truly existent, so there is no bondage or liberation. Venerable Maitreya's son, past form is not bound, not liberated, and so on. This is to say that the five aggregates of the three times, past, present, and future, are also not bound, not liberated. Why is that? Venerable Maitreya's son, because there is no form, form is not bound, not liberated, and so on. This is to explain the reason why the aforementioned five aggregates of the three times are not bound, not liberated, that is, to explain that the five aggregates of the three times are also without substance, empty, and unborn in the ultimate truth, so they are not bound, not liberated. Venerable Maitreya's son, virtuous form is not bound, not liberated, and so on. This is to say that the five aggregates belonging to the categories of virtuous, non-virtuous, and unspecified are also not bound, not liberated. Among them, virtue is that which is not associated with desire, hatred, and ignorance. Non-virtue is that which is associated with desire, hatred, and ignorance.

That which is not predicted is that, because it does not possess desire, hatred, and ignorance, it only becomes virtuous, and it will not appear to be predicted; because it is not separated from desire, hatred, and ignorance, it only becomes non-virtuous, and it will not appear to be predicted. For example, the agent and the five aggregates that are in the four modes of conduct. Venerable one, whatever worldly form is, is neither bound nor liberated, etc., which indicates that the five aggregates belonging to the categories of worldly, transcendental, with outflows, and without outflows are also shown as neither bound nor liberated. Among them, the worldly refers to all those who belong to the category of birth and death in the three realms, except for those who are accustomed to realizing the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena. The transcendental refers to all those who are accustomed to realizing the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena and will no longer be born and die in the three realms. With outflows refers to all those who are accompanied by the afflictions of the three realms. Without outflows refers to all those who are not accompanied by the afflictions of the three realms. Venerable one, why is that? Because there is no form, therefore form is neither bound nor liberated, etc., which shows that the five aggregates of good and non-good, predicted and unpredicted, worldly and transcendental, with outflows and without outflows are the reasons for being neither bound nor liberated. The meanings of non-existence, emptiness, and unarisen are the same as before. Venerable one, all dharmas are also neither bound nor liberated, because they do not exist, therefore they are neither bound nor liberated; because they are empty, therefore they are neither bound nor liberated; because they are unarisen, therefore they are neither bound nor liberated, which summarizes all the dharmas of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, and explains the unbinding and liberation with reasons. Venerable one, whatever is the perfection of generosity is neither bound nor liberated, etc., which indicates that from the six perfections such as generosity to the ultimate true limit and unconditioned phenomena, all white dharmas are neither bound nor liberated, and this is explained with three kinds of reasons. Instead of mentioning all the white dharmas at once, they are categorized separately.
