What is meant by "thing, thing"? And so on, dividing things and non-things into four categories, explaining that what is taught is emptiness. To explain that both things and non-things are empty is completely self-contradictory. If asked, how is self-nature empty by self-nature? And so on, this shows that one's own thing is emptiness. One's own thing is also not something that can be done because it lacks self-nature. Therefore, it is said, "Not made by knowing, not made by seeing." Knowing refers to non-discriminating wisdom. Seeing refers to the pure worldly wisdom that arises after non-discriminating wisdom. Because neither knowing nor seeing has made it, it is empty. So, what is the emptiness of other things? And so on, this shows the emptiness of other things. The very nature of dharma, and the nature of dharma, etc., these belong to the synonyms of suchness. Whether the Tathagatas appear in the world or not, the nature of dharmas has always been abiding in that way. For them, the absence of the "thing" of other dharmas such as the aggregates is what is called the emptiness of other things. Subhuti, furthermore, the "Great Vehicle" of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is like this, the samadhi called "Heroic Progress," etc., this shows that samadhi is the "Great Vehicle." Among them, the common meaning of samadhis is that the non-discriminating wisdom of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, with the characteristic of one-pointedness of mind, is placed in equipoise. Through the power of past actions and aspirations, beings are completely matured, and the Buddha-fields are completely purified, etc. Various powers are naturally accomplished, and due to these differences, various different names are established to show them. Among them, from the samadhi called "Heroic Progress" to the samadhi called "liberated without attachment and without defilement like the sky," the names of the samadhis are shown. The Hundred Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita is extensively explained.
