It refers to the mental activity of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, which is not mixed with the mental activity of non-discrimination. The meaning of "cultivation is for the sake of cultivation" is that cultivating in that way is for the sake of cultivating the absence of things in the ultimate sense. Furthermore, O son of Śāradvatī, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva cultivates without mixing the mental activity that possesses the knowledge of all aspects, for the sake of cultivation, cultivating the four mindfulnesses in a way that does not focus on anything, from "cultivating the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha in a way that does not focus on anything," it shows the practice of cultivating all white dharmas such as mindfulness without discrimination, this is the third. Furthermore, O son of Śāradvatī, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva is like this, because the Bodhisattva is without focus, like this, the name Bodhisattva is just a designation, know that. From "because the Buddha is without focus, the name Buddha is just a name, truly know that," O son of Śāradvatī, in that way, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva truly abides in the Mahāyāna, this is to say that all worldly and transworldly dharmas are merely expressed as names and designations in conventional truth, but in ultimate truth, because one knows that nothing is focused on, therefore the practice of non-discrimination towards them is shown, this is the fourth. Furthermore, O son of Śāradvatī, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, from generating the first thought of enlightenment until dwelling at the Bodhi tree, has perfected all the superknowledges and ripens all sentient beings, from "thinking of half of such a body and completely holding it," it shows the practice of non-discrimination in gaining mastery over magical powers and mastery over rebirth, in order to please the Buddhas, ripen the Buddhadharma, purify the Buddhafields, and ripen all sentient beings, this is the fifth. This is the realm of non-duality.

The term "abiding in" refers to the eighth bhumi, which is called the non-dual ground because of the spontaneous accomplishment of non-conceptualization. From "until he has obtained the wisdom of all aspects, he will never be separated from that vehicle" to "the wheel of Dharma is well turned" indicates that after attaining complete enlightenment, the turning of the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma demonstrates the practice of non-conceptualization, which is the sixth (part). From "until he has obtained the wisdom of all aspects, he will never be separated from that vehicle" indicates that the bodhisattva abiding in the eighth bhumi is irreversible, meaning that one who truly abides in the Mahayana will not fall back from it. From "after attaining complete enlightenment in unsurpassed and perfect enlightenment, in the world realms of the eastern direction, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide, praise the qualities" to "thus, the son of Sharadvati, the bodhisattva mahasattva, truly abides in the Mahayana" indicates the benefit of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the ten directions praising the qualities for the bodhisattva who truly abides in the Mahayana. From "Then, the venerable Subhuti asked the Blessed One as follows," etc., is Subhuti's question in order to distinguish the occasion when the Blessed One explained the meaning of donning great armor. Nine explanations of the meaning of donning great armor by the Blessed One, and combined with the Blessed One's intention, two explanations by Subhuti, with eleven explanations showing the donning of great armor at this time. "The Blessed One has donned great armor. If it is said that great armor has been donned, Blessed One, by how much is a bodhisattva mahasattva called having donned great armor?" to "What is the reason for this? Subhuti, if one clings to the nature of illusion, because the nature of all dharmas is such. Subhuti, thus the bodhisattva

From "named Great Earth Hero donned great armor" to here, it is donning the armor of all white dharmas such as the six perfections, and by the spontaneous accomplishment of magical powers, making the ten directions of the world pervaded by light, shaking in six ways, pacifying the three lower realms of the ten directions of the world, and showing it with the simile of illusion, this is the first explanation. Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, having donned great armor, abides in the perfection of generosity, and even manifests and emanates the three thousand great thousand worlds made of Vaidurya. From "Subhuti, such a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is one who has donned great armor" to here, it is showing the donning of the great armor of the perfection of generosity with the simile of illusion, this is the second explanation. Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the perfection of morality, from "Subhuti, such a Bodhisattva Mahasattva has donned great armor" to here, it is that I also abide in the perfection of morality, and also establish sentient beings in all white dharmas such as the ten virtues, having donned great armor, showing it with the simile of illusion, this is the third explanation. Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the perfection of patience, from "Subhuti, such a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is one who has donned great armor" to here, it is that I also abide in the perfection of patience, and also establish all sentient beings in the perfection of patience, having donned great armor, showing it with the simile of illusion, this is the fourth explanation. Subhuti, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the perfection of diligence, from "Subhuti, such a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is one who has donned great armor" to here, it is that I also abide in the perfection of diligence,
