It is because it appears that way. The so-called echo is like the sound arising from something that is not the basis of producing sound, and the sound does not belong to itself. Similarly, all phenomena appear and sound from what is not true. The so-called mirage is like mistakenly seeing something that is not a person or thing as appearing as a person or other things. Similarly, all phenomena are mistakenly seen from what is not the thing as it appears. The so-called reflection is like the appearance of the form of an object that is not the substance of form, which is not the true form. Similarly, all phenomena are not existent as they appear. The so-called mirage is like the appearance of a mirage in the hot season of spring, which is not water by nature but is mistaken for water. Similarly, all phenomena are not existent in their nature as they appear, but appear as if things exist. The so-called moon in water is like the moon appearing in water, which is not true, but appears as if it were the true moon. Similarly, all phenomena are not truly existent as they appear, but appear as if they were truly existent. The so-called emanation is like the various emanations that appear through the power of the mind of the emanator, which are not truly existent. Similarly, all phenomena appear through the power of the mind's delusion, not from the existence of external objects. "Bhagavan, I have not perceived or truly seen the increase or decrease of emptiness." From "Bhagavan, there is no name that is completely purified, no dwelling place, no end, no blessing," to "Why is that? Because there is no name. Therefore, that name has no dwelling place, no end, no blessing," in reality, all phenomena are empty, peaceful, unborn, unceasing, unarisen, unmanifest, undefiled, and unpurified. The sutra says that one should not impute or denigrate things and names.

This is to explain the practice of being free from the two extremes of attachment and slander. Among them, the so-called "seclusion" is because it is separate from the grasped and the grasper. The so-called "peace" is because it is naturally nirvana. The so-called "unborn" is because it is not born from cause and condition. The so-called "unextinguished" is because it is inherently unborn. The so-called "unoriginated" is because it does not originate from a causeless cause. The so-called "unfabricated" is because things are not truly existent in the ultimate sense, so there is no need to transform or decorate them. The so-called "without afflictions" is because, the things that can become the cause of afflictions and the afflictions themselves do not exist in the ultimate sense. The so-called "without purification" is because, if there are afflictions, then the corresponding purification will also be established, but because there are no afflictions, purification will not be established either. World Honored One, I have not found the increase or decrease of the Dharma realm, nor have I truly seen it. Even, World Honored One, the name of the faultless Dharma does not exist, there is no end, there is no blessing. What is the reason for this? Because the name does not exist, so the name does not exist, there is no end, there is no blessing. Up to here, it is to explain the practice of being free from the two extremes of attachment and slander towards the things and names of the Dharma realm, Suchness, the Real End, the Nature of Dharma, and the Faultless Dharma. Among them, the so-called "Dharma realm" is because it is the cause or basis for obtaining the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the eighteen unshared Dharmas of the Buddha, and other merits. The so-called "Suchness" is because the completely pure nature does not change and always remains as it is. The so-called "Real End" is because it truly reaches the ultimate perfection. The so-called "Nature of Dharma" is because whether they appear in the world or not, the Dharma nature of all phenomena is inherently so.

Like that, because it abides in the nature of emptiness. That which is called "Dharma without fault" is because, from the first ground onwards, one realizes suchness, enters the faultlessness of a Bodhisattva, will definitely attain unsurpassed Bodhi, and is completely irreversible. "Bhagavan, I have not perceived the increase and decrease of virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas, nor have I truly seen them accordingly," from "Bhagavan, the names of the past, future, and presently arising dharmas also have no abiding place, no end, no blessing" to "Why is that? Because the name does not exist, thus the name has no abiding place, no end, no blessing," is to show the realization that is free from the two extremes of superimposition and denigration regarding virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas, as well as worldly and transworldly dharmas, conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, defiled and undefiled dharmas, and past, future, and presently arising dharmas. The characteristics of virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas, etc., which are spoken of by name, will be explained in detail in the text below, so they are not explained here. "Bhagavan, I have not perceived the past, the future, and the present arising," from "What is unconditioned? That which has no birth, no abiding, no destruction," is to show the characteristics of the unconditioned, which is beyond the three times and has no birth, cessation, or abiding. "Bhagavan, I have not perceived the increase and decrease of the Bhagavan, nor have I truly seen them accordingly," is to show the realization that is free from the two extremes of superimposition and denigration regarding the existence and non-existence of the Bhagavan Shakyamuni himself. "Bhagavan, I have not perceived the increase and decrease of the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, along with the Sangha of Hearers and the Bodhisattvas, in the world realms of the eastern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges,
