Transcendence is connected with the realization of the exhaustion of defilements. From "Those who seek and disturb the demons cannot find an opportunity" to "They will never be separated from these Buddhas, the Bhagavat," this explains the benefits of possessing the characteristics of diligence mentioned above. These benefits are: the benefit of the demon not finding an opportunity; the spontaneous accomplishment of those who accomplish worldly and transmundane things; the elimination of all defilements; the complete protection of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the ten directions from falling into the realm of Hearers and Solitary Realizers; the complete protection from the obstruction of all worldly gods; all the faults of the body will disappear; the doors of dharanis and samadhis, etc., will manifest; and in all lifetimes, one will please the Buddhas and will not be separated from the Buddhas, these are the eight benefits. Among them, "Those who seek and disturb the demons cannot find an opportunity" explains the benefit of the demon not finding an opportunity. "All the activities of the world and beyond, all are spontaneously accomplished, and they are accomplished harmoniously without any doubt" explains the benefit of the spontaneous accomplishment of worldly and transmundane things. "Without any doubt" means that it is accomplished without doubt or hesitation. "All the defilements of the world will be completely eliminated" explains the benefit of eliminating all worldly defilements. From "In the world realms of the eastern direction, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, how many Buddhas, the Bhagavat, reside," etc., it explains the benefit of the Buddhas of the ten directions completely protecting from falling into the realm of Hearers and Solitary Realizers. From "The Four Great Kings and the gods of the Thirty-Three," etc., it explains the benefit of protecting from the obstruction of worldly gods. Among them, all the faults of the body, all in this life, all

That which is called "all will be without," shows the benefit of having an undamaged body. That which is called "The door of dharani, the door of samadhi, fearlessness, and the doors of individual perfect wisdom will also be manifested without great effort," shows the benefit of accomplishing the doors of dharani, samadhi, and so forth. That which is called "without great effort" means that it is accomplished without affliction and effort. That which is called "in all places of birth" and so forth, shows the benefit of pleasing the Buddha and not being separated from the Buddha. Son of Sharadvati, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, thinking thus, that which is called "in any dharma" and so forth, from the perspective of abandoning the discrimination of the gathering and separation of all dharmas, shows the nature of diligence, because any dharma of samsara and nirvana is not established as existent in the ultimate sense. Therefore, gathering and separation and so forth are also not established. That which is called meeting or not meeting is merely another name for gathering and separation. Thinking thus, "Will my dharmadhatu be manifestly enlightened? Or will it not be enlightened?" and not thinking about it, from the perspective of abandoning the discrimination of manifest enlightenment, shows the nature of diligence, because in the ultimate sense, the one who causes manifest enlightenment and the one to be manifestly enlightened are not established. That which is called "any dharma is also not truly seen as different from the dharmadhatu," is also to clarify the above meaning. Dharmadhatu means the nature of emptiness, and being non-different from it means the nature of emptiness. That which is called "not making distinctions between the dharmadhatu and all dharmas," means that in the ultimate sense, all dharmas are of one taste in the nature of the dharmadhatu, so there is no distinction in nature. That which is called "Will the dharmadhatu be comprehended? Or will it not be comprehended?" and not thinking about it, is because the dharmadhatu and the self are inseparable, so the comprehender and the comprehended are not perceived. Therefore, that
