Tranquility, namely the burden of the aggregates, the burden of afflictions, the burden of vows, and the burden of diligence. Among these, by fully understanding the truth of suffering, one abandons the burden of the aggregates. By abandoning the origin, one abandons the burden of afflictions. By cultivating the path, one abandons the burden of vows. By directly realizing cessation, one should know that one has abandoned the burden of diligence. As for "perfectly attaining one's own benefit," there are two ways to attain one's own benefit: abandoning what is not beneficial and accomplishing what one seeks. Among these, by abandoning ignorance, one abandons all the obscurations of afflictions, which is abandoning what is not beneficial. By generating wisdom, one attains liberation, which is accomplishing what one seeks. As for "completely exhausting all connections to existence," it refers to abandoning the nine afflictions that connect to existence. What are the nine afflictions that connect to existence? They are: the connection of views, the connection of holding to the supreme, the connection of doubt, the connection of jealousy, the connection of miserliness, the connection of anger, the connection of pride, the connection of ignorance, and the connection of desire and attachment. These afflictions cause beings to be born in samsara, therefore they are called connections to existence. As for "the mind being completely liberated by the true command," the true command of the Tathagata refers to right view. By becoming accustomed to right view, one completely abandons all the obscurations of afflictions, and the mind becomes completely pure, which is called the mind being completely liberated by the true command. As for "obtaining the supreme transcendence over all mental powers," it indicates the merit of obtaining power over the mind through the strength of becoming accustomed to meditation and samadhi. Because of obtaining power over the mind, one can enter the four dhyanas, the four formless absorptions, and the cessation absorption in accordance with the rules, not in accordance with the rules, and transcendently, without any hindrance, and one can enter into samadhi as one wishes, therefore, for all samadhis, the mind

It means that it is completely perfect and ultimate. Except for one person, like this, the venerable Ananda, who is constantly entering the stream of learning, refers to the fact that the venerable Ananda at that time attained the fruit of entering the stream and was learning to become an Arhat. Because everyone else was already an Arhat, a person who has exhausted defilements, etc., it was not mentioned in the description of merits, because only he was a stream-enterer, and everyone else was already an Arhat. Having thus proclaimed the Sangha of Bhikshus, in order to proclaim the Sangha of Bhikshunis, Upasakas, and Upasikas, it was proclaimed that about five hundred Bhikshunis, including Grahadharini and Mahaprajapati Gautami, as well as extremely numerous Upasakas and Upasikas, all had realized the Dharma. The so-called all realized the Dharma means that all of them realized the truth. Bodhisattvas, Mahasattvas, immeasurable and countless, etc., thus proclaimed the perfect retinue of Bodhisattvas. The reason why a definite quantity and number were not mentioned is that they all gathered from various worlds, and there were so many that it was not specified how many there were. There are also five types of Bodhisattvas: those with pure superior intention, those who abide in the absence of characteristics with effort, those who abide in spontaneous accomplishment in the absence of characteristics, those who have entered into definite conduct, and those who are bound by one lifetime. Among them, from the first bhumi to the sixth bhumi are those with pure superior intention. The seventh bhumi is those who abide in the absence of characteristics with effort. The eighth bhumi is those who abide in spontaneous accomplishment in the absence of characteristics. The ninth bhumi is those who have entered into definite conduct. The tenth bhumi should be known as those who are bound by one lifetime. Everyone has attained dharani, etc., thus proclaiming the perfection of the qualities of those Bodhisattvas. Among them, the so-called dharani is called dharani because it can remember the meaning and words of all dharmas without error. In short, it refers to mindfulness and wisdom.
