This is to explain the qualities of being skilled in mastering the entry into (the profound) state. Among them, by obtaining the samadhi called "following and understanding the conduct of the minds of all sentient beings," one becomes skilled in the methods of taming those sentient beings by understanding the movement of the minds of all sentient beings and various kinds of aspirations. By obtaining the samadhi of entering the realm of Dharma, one becomes skilled in mastering the profound and subtle wisdom and vast conduct of the Tathagatas. This is what is being explained. The phrase "possessing a mind without hatred towards all sentient beings" indicates that because one does not abandon the effort to completely protect all sentient beings, it demonstrates the possession of the power of great love and the power of great compassion to eliminate the suffering of all sentient beings. The phrase "possessing great patience" refers to the bodhisattvas abiding on the ten bhumis. Because they have obtained the samadhi endowed with the special empowerment of all-knowing wisdom, their patience towards the dharma of non-arising in the lower bhumis becomes extremely refined and vast. They are even able to realize the profound and subtle realm of the wisdom of the Buddha Bhagavan, which is difficult to understand, and are therefore called possessors of great patience. Therefore, the knowledge of these bodhisattvas is said to be only slightly less than that of the all-knowing. The phrase "skilled in the wisdom of realizing the equality of all dharmas" refers to the dharmata of the equality of all dharmas, which is suchness. They are skilled in realizing these suchnesses with their own self-aware wisdom, and they are also skilled in enabling others to realize them. This is the meaning. The phrase "possessing profound dharmata, difficult to fathom" means that because these bodhisattvas have realized profound dharmata, their minds are also deep and difficult to fathom. The phrase "having complete control over one's own mind" means that the minds of these bodhisattvas are completely pure and will not be controlled by afflictions. This is the meaning. The phrase "having complete control over all dharmas" means knowing that all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are merely mind.

Therefore, it indicates those who do not strive for external things, but possess the power to transform their own minds as they wish. The so-called "liberated from all obscurations of karma, afflictions, and views" means not being born in the three realms due to the influence of karma, afflictions, and views. The so-called "skilled in revealing the realization of truth" refers to being skilled in revealing the twelve links of dependent origination for the sake of others' realization. The so-called "entering the inexhaustible principle of dependent origination" refers to the profound Dharma of no arising and ceasing as the principle of dependent origination. The so-called no arising and ceasing is inexhaustible, and entering it refers to realization and comprehension. The so-called "being free from all views, latent tendencies, and manifestations," views refer to the view of the aggregates, the view of extremes, wrong views, the view of holding views as supreme, and the view of holding moral discipline and asceticism as supreme. There are seven latent tendencies: latent tendency of desire attachment, latent tendency of anger, latent tendency of existence attachment, latent tendency of pride, latent tendency of ignorance, latent tendency of views, and latent tendency of doubt. There are eight manifestations: manifestation of dullness, manifestation of sleep, manifestation of excitement, manifestation of doubt, manifestation of jealousy, manifestation of stinginess, manifestation of shamelessness, and manifestation of not knowing shame, which refers to being free from these afflictions. The so-called "abandoning all bonds," there are nine bonds: bond of attachment, bond of anger, bond of pride, bond of ignorance, bond of views, bond of grasping, bond of doubt, bond of jealousy, and bond of stinginess. These afflictions cause sentient beings to be reborn in the five realms, and because they are bonds, they are called bonds, which refers to abandoning these afflictions.
