Therefore, for all beings such as gods and humans, the most supreme person is the Tathagata, hence he is called a lion. His Dharma fulfills all aspirations and terrifies the opposing heretics, hence it is called the lion's roar, like a lion's banner. His voice is the teacher, the Bhagavan. He goes to the other shore by contemplating with wisdom, therefore it should be known as reaching the other shore. Moreover, the lion's roar shows twenty-seven activities, which should be examined in detail in the Great Mother Sutra. According to this, the scriptures say: Guiding beings to the work of peace, placing those who gather in the four means of gathering, and completely pacifying all defilements, realizing the aspect of purity, benefiting sentient beings as they are, benefit and the six perfections, the path to Buddhahood and nature, emptiness and the cessation of duality, signs and the absence of objects, completely maturing embodied beings, the path of the Bodhisattva, reversing attachment, attaining enlightenment and the Buddha-field, completely purifying, immeasurable and the benefit of sentient beings, the qualities of the Buddha's support, the path of the limbs of enlightenment, not wasting and seeing the truth, and abandoning perversion, and also the way of that which is without basis, and purification and accumulation, and conditioned and unconditioned, completely not knowing the difference, and placing in Nirvana, these are considered the twenty-seven activities of the Dharmakaya. Thus, the Bhagavan emanates for the purpose of taking them, that is, pacifying the fire of hell for the beings in hell, and giving charity of one's own flesh etc. to animals, and giving food and drink etc. to pretas, by merely giving charity, he shows the Dharma, causing them to have faith, thereby causing them to be born as gods and humans, and from the gods again showing the Dharma that is in accordance with the inferior vehicle, causing them to have faith, thereby causing them to be born as humans, until he places them in between the enlightenment of the Shravakas, this is called the activity of guiding beings to peace. Furthermore, for people, the charity of internal and external wealth and the worldly and

Practicing the meaning of the Dharma's generosity that transcends the world, and teaching those who are in accordance with the meaning, this is the activity of establishing the four means of gathering. For the obscurations of all afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge, complete purification is the nature of their cessation. And this is achieved through the wisdom of selflessness of persons and phenomena, this is the activity of establishing wisdom in all afflictions and complete purification. For example, a magician conjures up various kinds of things, but worldly people do not understand that all these are without substance. However, when practicing the Prajnaparamita, he sees that the skandhas, etc., are the same as his own nature of emptiness. In the ultimate truth, there are no sentient beings, because the established dharmas are without self-nature. This is the activity of truly establishing oneself in the benefit of sentient beings. He gives generosity, and also persuades others to give generosity. Similarly, with words such as "guarding morality", this is the activity of establishing them in the six paramitas. He correctly takes up the ten virtuous paths of action, etc., this is the activity of establishing the path to Buddhahood. The Paramitas and other dharmas of the Bodhisattvas, and their three wheels and results, are shown to be emptiness. And they practice these dharmas until they attain unsurpassed enlightenment. This is the activity of establishing emptiness. All dharmas are empty in nature, and the dharmas of emptiness in nature are also empty in nature, this is the activity of establishing non-dual dharma. The perfectly enlightened Buddhas, the Bhagavat, do not cling to any dharma in the ultimate truth, but in the conventional truth, they taught the dharmas after manifesting perfect enlightenment, such as the skandhas, realms, etc., as well as the Paramitas, etc., and all-knowingness, etc. This is the activity of establishing conventional wisdom. If for the Paramitas and other dharmas, they
