Sentient beings, such as those on earth, illuminate all with the light of their own bodies, pacify all suffering, and are also born among gods and humans, including the Buddhas. They are made to listen to and remember the Buddhas, and by remembering them, they arise from all the lower realms, become perfectly complete, please the Buddhas, and fully uphold the union that is in accordance with them. The six perfections and others also constantly increase without interruption, becoming the support of the Bodhisattva of the Joyful Ground, surpassing the karma of all ordinary people, Hearers, and Solitary Realizers, and being born flawlessly as Bodhisattvas. Thus, the lineage of the Tathagatas is not severed, it is the path of seeing, so it is said. Also in the Tenth Ground Sutra: In a single instant, one obtains a hundred samadhis and enters into them, sees a hundred Buddhas, truly knows their blessings, a hundred worlds shake and are illuminated, goes to a hundred Buddhafields, and ripens a hundred sentient beings. Abiding for a hundred kalpas, one enters well into the past and future limits, distinguishes well with a hundred Dharma doors, and manifests a hundred bodies. In each and every body, one shows a retinue of a hundred Bodhisattvas. So it is said. Entering into the past and future limits means that one becomes the master who prevents sentient beings from sinful deeds, showing the aspects of karma. Distinguishing well means that for the sake of the complete maturation of one's own wisdom, one contemplates the meaning of the categories of Dharma. Holding a hundred in all places is because of its certainty. With skillful means, it is countless. Seeing countless Buddhas is also because of the accumulation of merit. Whether the numbers of these are definite or indefinite, just as with the qualities of the previous grounds, by this, following the later ones, and becoming excellent, it should also be known by the initial distinction. That Bodhisattva, who is the support of immeasurable qualities, will also become the sovereign of Jambudvipa. Sovereign

Having obtained the master of great wealth, even if one completely abandons the body for the sake of protecting the Dharma, it will not be exhausted. He will manifest in many ways the non-attachment of a Chakravartin king and the enjoyment of desires with joy, and he will have no attachment to these either. He will universally accept all the perfections of the world, but he will not become attached to them. By meditating on all dharmas as illusions, he will obtain the power to control afflictions in order to be close to those beings who are to be tamed. By the special intention like that of a magical person, the sons of the conquerors do not exist because of the suffering of enjoying desires. Or, due to unwillingness, he will abandon the status of a Chakravartin king, including family and wife, and thus he will become ordained in the teachings of the Tathagata. In any case, once he is ordained, he will bless himself with the merits of the previous ground. Similarly, the merits of this ground and the merits of the previous ground will clearly manifest here the superknowledges such as clouds, and make them last for a long time. The merits of the ground above that are limitless. Even so, only a slight mention of those merits will be made. As it is said in the "Noble Ten Grounds Sutra": The Bodhisattva of the stainless ground will also become a Chakravartin king who possesses the seven treasures and rules the four continents. Samadhi and so on are the thousandfold merits of the hundredfold ground mentioned earlier. In the place where light shines, by means of the wisdom that distinguishes well, he will constantly strive to seek the sacred Dharma, listen to the Dharma day and night, pursue the truth of the Dharma, and become a person who is happy to associate with those who speak the Dharma. He will not be stingy with anything internal or external, and will give everything away. He will give away those things that are close to the behavior of the guru. Even if it is harmful to the body, he will give it away without hesitation. Because of constant giving, his respect for the Dharma will increase day by day, so he will honor the Dharma with wealth, kingship, rebirth in higher realms, worldly purity, and his own possessions. And that Dharma

The wheel-turning king will be pleased by this, but not Brahma and Indra. Even for a single verse of Dharma that establishes perfect and complete enlightenment, I would gladly leap into a fire that fills the entire three-thousandfold great thousand world system up to the Brahma realm. Similarly, if I become the lord of the Thirty-three and desire to liberate beings from the mire of desire through virtue, this is the merit of this Dharma. The merits of samadhi and so forth have been described as a thousandfold on the basis of a hundredfold. For the radiant one, he will become the king of the Tushita gods and become the master, skillfully destroying the wrong views of beings, in order to establish beings in right view. The merits of samadhi and so forth have been described as a hundredfold. For the difficult to tame, on the basis of a hundredfold, the merits of samadhi and so forth have been described as billions and trillions of times, he will become the king of the Tushita gods and become the master, skillfully eliminating all the birthplaces of non-Buddhists, wishing to establish beings in the truths. For the manifest one, on the basis of a hundredfold, the merits have been described as hundreds of billions of trillions of times, he will become the king of the Paranirmita-vasavartin gods and skillfully subdue the arrogance of beings, wishing to establish beings in dependent origination. For a long time, for the benefit of beings, having entered into the samadhi of meditation and liberation, and with the six superknowledges, in the countless realms of the ten directions, in an instant, he will perfectly accomplish the various forms of beings in the six realms, such as gods, shravakas, and the retinue of bodhisattvas, teaching them as much as possible in the countless realms of the ten directions through emanations, and proclaiming the Dharma in various voices, or other emanations.
