Through the complete absence of conceptualization, it is authentically generated, and with an equal mind, it thoroughly connects all sentient beings to its wisdom. Therefore, that Bodhisattva also sees the Buddha first. It generates joy by becoming endowed with divine power, but not for the Arhats who meditate on the eight liberations. The lineage of that Buddha will remain unbroken. Thus it is said. Also in the Bodhisattva Pitaka, it is said: The benefit of the mind generation of the first Bodhisattva who generates the mind of the second liberation is that, with the mind generation, he will become the place of giving for all sentient beings, and will become the supreme field of merit, like a father. Those who greatly increase merit are also upheld without hindrance and are protected, and because they are not attached to it, even when sleeping and being careless, they cannot be harmed by poisonous snakes, yakshas, and non-humans who dwell there. For the person who enters completely, the inner merit will gradually decrease. There will be no harm to birth. This memory will not be forgotten. The mind will not decline. Even if it comes into the hands of others, the plagues and near harms of those sentient beings who cannot be accomplished, and the words of evil mantras and bad vidyas, if they come into his hands, will be accomplished. What need is there to mention those who have already been accomplished? Wherever one dwells in the Buddha-field, there will be no fear, anxiety, the fault of famine, and the near harms done by non-humans, and even if they arise, they will quickly be pacified. If one is born in the hells and evil realms on a hundred paths, even there one will be liberated very quickly because of that. In the hells, the feeling of suffering will become small, and a feeling of revulsion will arise very quickly, and a mind of great compassion will arise for those sentient beings. Thus it is said. Also in the Great Mother (Prajnaparamita) it is said: Because of practicing with faith, the compassion of the Bodhisattva, in each of the ten directions, in as many worlds as there are grains of sand in the Ganges, all the hells, animals, and hungry ghosts
