It is said that the nature of the path of liberation, which manifestly realizes the separation from afflictions, has eight subsequent dharma knowledges. The other eight that accompany it are definitely known, so after a close examination elsewhere, it is said elsewhere as subsequent dharma knowledge. In this case, only the manifestation and the object of focus are established as manifest realization. Here, following tolerance, the wisdom that manifestly realizes liberation from afflictions, and the wisdom that accompanies it, is also said elsewhere to be manifest realization in the discriminating wisdom of tolerance. Because it is the proximate cause itself, whatever thoroughly contemplates tolerance of subsequent dharma, in that, the subsequent dharma knowledge of suffering, as stated in the Compendium of Dharma Abhidhamma. If it is said that the subsequent dharma knowledge of the path is not the path of seeing because it sees what has not been seen, then the other discriminating wisdoms of tolerance would also become not the path of seeing. In this, the four dharma knowledge tolerances are desire, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt, view of the aggregates, extreme views, wrong views, holding views as supreme, and moral discipline. Holding asceticism as supreme, etc., in the desire realm, there are forty kinds in total, with ten kinds each. The four subsequent tolerances, in that, because of abandoning anger, there are seventy-two kinds that are born in the four dhyanas and the four formless concentrations. The one hundred and twelve afflictions that are to be abandoned by the path of seeing will be abandoned. Among them, desire is the attachment of latent tendencies. Anger is hatred. Exalting the mind with the distinction of correct or incorrect is pride. In permanence and so on, internally augmenting and clinging to it as appearing supreme is holding views as supreme. Clinging to that itself as appearing as the path of liberation is holding moral discipline and asceticism as supreme. The rest has been described. The view of the aggregates is the one that is included in the sixty-two views described in the Brahma Net Sutra. Also, here the view of the aggregates is based on the oral instructions of the tenets of other schools...

Attachment is completely abandoned, and the view of the co-emergent aggregate of decay is thoroughly abandoned by the path of cultivation, since it has been entered for a long time. The co-emergent is the habit of clinging to sentient beings, which has arisen from beginningless time by its power, and the thought that these are "mine" gradually, all the dharmas that are contrary to all afflictions are seen as emptiness, and then afflictions no longer arise. Whatever, the self-nature of this mind is clear light, the stains of suddenness, if they were powerless before, then from where did they disappear later? Therefore, the Blessed One said, "At that time, at that moment, I was the king of deer named Immaculate Body," etc., is due to the power of past aspirations. There is no need to elaborate. Here, although it is said that in the path of seeing, those that are in accordance with the worldly definitive division appear, those who are attached to the Blessed One, with the four distinctions of what is grasped and what grasps, because the distinctions themselves are inverted, and the nature of clinging to things and non-things, etc., is born of inversion, and they are all included in ignorance, so abandoning ignorance can abandon them in this way. Thus, the Ornament of the Sutras says that the stage of the path of seeing, other than those that are in accordance with the definitive division, is the knowledge that is liberated from the two, because it is separated from the combination of what is grasped and what grasps, and because there is no distinction, it does not combine with the distinction of what is grasped and what grasps, and because the afflictions to be abandoned are abandoned by the defiled view, the contaminated ones do not enter another place, so it is considered here to be the first ground. The Noble Liberation Group also says that the antidote to the four distinctions of what is grasped and what grasps is the path of seeing. Therefore, the four things previously taught by Senge Sangpo, from those that are in accordance with the definitive division, the distinctions of what is grasped and what grasps that manifest as appropriate are the path of seeing included in the realization of the peak of the special path.
