I heard that the Blessed One was staying there, and that is the origin. The occasion for explaining the understanding of the doctrine is from "then" and so on. The word "also" is an ornament of the sentence, because he was staying there, or because he was in the sangha there, so it is Subhuti. Mentioning "Elder" is for the sake of offering, and also for those who abide in the absence of afflictions and will become Arhats. Bestowing teachings is "Subhuti," which is blessed by speech. The Blessed One blesses in three ways for the purpose of teaching the Dharma: some with the hand, some with speech, and some with the mind. Why? In order to generate the joy of those of the same kind. "Be brave" means: You personally go to complete enlightenment. Whenever, when calling Subhuti and teaching, many other people to be tamed will each think: The Blessed One is looking at me with a smile and teaching me the Dharma. Even so, because the teachings are bestowed from Subhuti, these two are combined. So why, when explaining the vehicles of the Bodhisattvas, were they not summoned once? Because when summoning the Bodhisattvas and teaching, some people will think that this sutra is very profound and we cannot practice it, thus clinging to the words. If the teaching is based on Subhuti, then everyone will think it is common and will not think it is very profound, thus they will enter. It is also common, because it is the occasion of the three omniscient ones, so through his explanation, the monks and other retinues can also obtain the realization of the Dharma. Even if there is no disciple who has been requested by the guru, even so, this request is out of respect for the Dharma. Even so, it is said: "Elder Subhuti especially believes in the Prajnaparamita from a young age." Who is it mainly about? It starts from "wisdom" and so on. The main purpose of Prajnaparamita is to realize the Dharmakaya, which is the purpose of the purpose. By applying the meaning to this, the scriptures and the paths are also expressed by this word. Starting from that

Understanding is for the sake of pursuing the meaning by noble beings, and it is the meaning of 'the division of what arises from means.' 'How' means according to the distinctions of listening, thinking, and meditating. The Perfection of Wisdom refers to the three kinds of all-knowing ones. By relying on this path and proceeding, it will definitely arise, which means going without remainder. How does one proceed by it? It is the union and the excellence of union, the order of union, and the ultimate of union. It means to do completely in the manner of what is needed. These two statements should also be spoken to the venerable Subhuti, showing separately by the eight Abhisamayas. As it is also stated in the treatise: The Perfection of Wisdom, is rightly explained by eight things. That is, because it focuses on emptiness, and because of the nature of ultimate emptiness, therefore, for the supreme wisdom, because this wisdom is the other shore, it is the Perfection, by which it is eliminated. Whose other shore is it? It is the other shore of conceptualization. As appropriate, the noble ones and Bodhisattvas and the pure Tathagatas have gone to the other shore, and because they have realized it individually, it is the Perfection. How is it that one has gone to the other shore on the path of union? That is the activity of meaning. How is it the Perfection of Wisdom? Because it is its fruit. 'Rightly explained' means that it is taught by summarizing the eight Abhisamayas. What are the eight? All-aspects-knowingness, path-knowingness, and then all-knowingness, all-aspects complete enlightenment, peak attainment and gradual, one instant complete enlightenment, Dharma-nature body and those eight. The aspect of completely and perfectly realizing all aspects, because it is directed towards and truly realized by what is to be realized by all aspects, it is Abhisamaya, because it realizes the meaning. The peak is the supreme attainment. Gradual is step by step, gradual is where the gradual is joined to manifest enlightenment, it is the meaning of peak Abhisamaya and gradual Abhisamaya, etc. Here, what is to be manifested

The Abhisamaya and the Abhisamaya that closely attains the eight aspects are seven types of Abhisamaya. These seven attain through Abhisamaya and are called the Dharmakaya of Abhisamaya and the eight aspects. These are the eight objects. Here, how is the order of Omniscience and so on taught by the Blessed One herself, and what are these eight Abhisamayas? From the perspective of the division of individuals, how are the lineages of the three vehicles, such as the Shravakas, different? They do not abide in the lineage in a following manner. If the Blessed One did not teach solely with regard to a single Bodhisattva individual, then only Omniscience itself is established in the stages of cause and effect, why are others needed? For the listener, it is shown in two ways: one is the order of understanding cause and effect, such as the four mindfulnesses and the right abandonments; the other is the order of establishing fruit and cause, such as the truth of suffering and the truth of origin, the truth of cessation and the truth of the path. The first of these Abhisamayas is the fruit, Omniscience itself, then the Path Knowledge, then the Knowledge of All, and then the desire to fully realize all aspects, which is unreasonable. Because firstly, there is no second to the ultimate fruit of the final stage of Abhisamaya, and since there is no existence of Path Knowledge and so on before the generation of Bodhicitta, how can these eight become the order of cause and effect? How is it to be understood? The stated Omniscience is of two types: the main one is the enlightenment of the Buddha in the stage of fruition; the non-main one is in the stage of cause, that is, through the Path Knowledge, separately realizing the selflessness of person and the selflessness of phenomena, because those Bodhisattvas in the previous stage only fully understand the emptiness of the individual of the Knowledge of All.
