Obtaining the bliss of liberation. Abandoning the burden of vows means directly realizing cessation, thereby obtaining the bliss of perfect enlightenment. Completing the burden of practicing yoga means obtaining the bliss of near pacification through cultivating the path. Merely abandoning the burden, the merit of obtaining bliss after abandoning the burden is proclaimed. As for "obtaining one's own benefit," there are two types of obtaining one's own benefit: among them, abandoning non-benefit means abandoning one's own afflictive ignorance, thereby abandoning all afflictive obscurations; through realizing the meaning, generating the wisdom of what, thereby realizing nirvana. Completely knowing the exhaustion, there are nine that are connected to existence. In order for the person to be connected to existence, namely, desire, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt, holding views, jealousy, and stinginess, these have all been abandoned from other aspects. Among them, the undefiled right view is abandoning holding views and doubt. Here, the view of the perishable collection, the view of holding to extremes, and wrong view are the three views. Holding views and holding to ethical conduct and asceticism are the two types of holding. Obtaining undefiled samadhi, one abandons jealousy, stinginess, anger, and the desire of the desire realm. Pride, ignorance, and desire for existence are abandoned through the exhaustion of the wisdom of the Arhat path. "Truly" means truly knowing completely and truly realizing completely, thereby proclaiming the Three Jewels, qualities, and the three vehicles. For the Four Noble Truths and the dharmas of the limbs of enlightenment, due to truly believing in them, being separated from the aspects that are not in accordance with this, the mind is extremely liberated. "All the mastery of the mind" means that with whatever mind one masters samadhi, thereby being able to control it freely, it is also the same for everything that is mastered by that mind. For them, the supreme other shore is the other shore, which is ultimate, in terms of the meaning of going to this place and arriving at this place. The other shore is going to the ultimate, supremely reaching the other shore is what is obtained by this. Mastery means arising from the rules as one wishes, and

On the opposite of cessation, from the very first stage, in order to accomplish the nine successive absorptions, to enter into absorption, and to have mastery over the individual realizations of abiding, viewing, and so forth. If it is said that since everything is mentioned, does that mean that the venerable Ānanda also possesses those qualities? It is said: No. The term "one" and so forth, because the words of a person are different from the eight noble individuals who are in accordance with the meaning. Those who have not realized are those who have been completely abandoned. "This is like this" means to show closeness to others. "Endowed with life" means to make particularly pleased, the world desires rituals, and he pleases them in the same way. Here, the reason for explaining the Sangha of the Hearers is that it is intended to enter the Great Vehicle later, and for the sake of the extremely famous retinue, and for the sake of the definite retinue. Among them, the extremely famous one is definite only for the retinue of the ordained, because they always abide in the presence of their own perfect Buddha. Bodhisattvas are not like that, because most of them are householders, and also because they go from here to the realms of the ten directions, and also because they come here from those places, therefore the Sangha of Bodhisattvas is not mentioned here, because their vehicle has already been taught, so the retinue of Bodhisattvas is immeasurable, to clarify this meaning, and because it is the time for this sutra to be abbreviated. Among them, there are three types of practitioners: one is the one who, having spoken, understands and accepts the words, he is the one who likes elaboration. The second is the one who, by speaking a lot, also understands the rest, and understands by making various elaborations, this is the one who likes the middle. The third is the one who, by speaking briefly, understands a lot, and understands by mentioning the beginning, he is the one who likes brevity. In that order, in that order, the Blessed One spoke of the eight thousand verses, the twenty-five thousand verses, and the eight thousand verses. Among them, because the sutra desires to be abbreviated, the beginning of this sutra is also abbreviated. Monks and nuns, gods and humans, non-gods and gandharvas, and other retinues should also be known here. Explaining them means the retinue that the Blessed One spoke of on Vulture Peak.
