La. Luminosity is when all the adventitious, untrue, and completely conceived darkness disappears from its very nature. Here, the conventional nature of mind, which is inseparable from aspects such as non-attachment, is without inherent existence in the ultimate sense, so it is said, "Mind does not exist," which is a negation that is not an affirmation and a negation that is not an exclusion. Existing in the conventional sense, but not truly existing in the ultimate sense, merely abiding in this compassion, seeing perversely, and saying, "Does it exist?" This is because, according to reason, things do not exist. This is not an affirmation that is not an exclusion, but rather a negation that is not an exclusion. Regarding this, merely labeling it as existence and non-existence, considering that "it is also not existence," and saying "nothing at all," and so on. Mind is merely a thing, and no-mind is the very no-mindness of that thing. The expression for this is "does not exist." The existence and non-existence of both of these, just expressed, are not perceived, because there is no establisher. Non-existence is because there is a sacred Dharma that can harm. Because it truly transcends both things and non-things, therefore, questioning and debating again about this. Saying "no-mind" refers to merely manifesting the thing of no-mind, which is what is intended. To establish existence with the nature of existence and non-existence is unreasonable. Because mind, as a phenomenon, has no object, there is no application of negation. Therefore, saying "no-mind also does not exist" refers to "how is this?" Yogis, wanting to individually understand in the conventional sense, say "unchanging," because it is naturally luminous, and because the mind is not stained by changing desires and so on, it is unchanging. All elaborations are pacified, and it is not the object of all discriminations, so it is non-discriminating. Therefore, the mind should also not cling to the mind, because its nature is one with emptiness. Even so, the mind's nature is luminous, and the object is also the aspect of non-clinging. Just as mind is a thing of no-mind, similarly, for forms and so on, understanding the meaning that forms and so on do not exist is

The five aggregates are equally proclaimed in emptiness, and here, because of the nature and because it is the cause of the meaning of the supreme man, so because it is the main, it is evident that the form and so on also want to establish the nature of the Bodhi mind. The object and aspect of the divisions such as warmth, etc., should be understood by the division of elimination from the aspects that contradict this. However, "not" refers to brightness, which is the meaning of aspect. There are two kinds of samadhi practitioners without afflictions. One cannot prevent the afflictions in the continuum of others, so it should not be taken here, but one who can prevent the afflictions of discrimination should be taken here, because it is the occasion. The "also" here refers to the special features of such objects and aspects, that is, from slight warmth to non-retrogression. For those with sharp, medium, and dull faculties, it is extreme joy and immovability. Not being separated from the Perfection of Wisdom means that it goes from higher to higher. The nature of slight warmth, because it also follows the above ones, is said in the treatise based on the difference of the causality of the twelve, saying that it is the cause of obtaining the three vehicles. The warmth and so on of Bodhisattvas are the cause of obtaining the three kinds of Bodhi, because some non-retrogressors also obtain inferior Bodhi due to the power of lineage. The warmth and so on of those of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha vehicles cannot obtain unsurpassed Bodhi in any way. The Hearer's ground where it is said refers to the "ground" that will appear here, which is its reason. What should be heard is the scripture. What should be grasped is what should be placed in the mind. What should be read is what should be recited in order not to forget. What should be fully understood is the meaning, that is, everything should be fully understood in every way. What should be proclaimed is to proclaim the meaning and scripture to others as well. What should be learned is through thinking. The so-called "yoga" refers to the practice of entering into samadhi of calm abiding and insight.
