You are unexamined, and its homogeneous cause is called examination. Turning away from that sole meaning, the knowledge that grasps all of this with the aspect of inverted sound and meaning is unexamined. It is not non-conceptual wisdom, nor is it merely observing that things do not exist. Because it is famous, all of this is merely the nature of sound and meaning, therefore it is conventional truth. Or, because it transcends the world, it is conventional truth through trust, because all things that are widely known in the world are ultimately conventional truth. A little that is extremely hidden, the establishment of karma and fruit, etc., which are separately determined in all aspects, cannot be understood by anyone other than the omniscient wisdom, therefore, wherever things are clung to as permanent, etc., that is called false conventional truth, even if it is definitely clung to, it does not exist. These dharmas that are devoid of self, etc., are called having causes, existing in the true conventional truth. Or, the nature of consciousness and objects of consciousness, having the five aggregates, is conventional truth. As the noble Nagarjuna said: 'All that arises from causes and conditions, is the power of others, is conventional truth, is called the power of others, the ultimate truth is not artificial.' Thus. They arise from dependent origination, therefore it is the power of others, that is, the nature of the five aggregates, in conventional truth it is the nature of illusion, in ultimate truth it is the emptiness that is the nature of selflessness. If the ultimate truth transcends all elaboration, then what meaning does it accomplish, therefore wanting to abandon these things that are obscured, exhausted, and accompanied in meaning, if it is nothing? The answer is: Having the characteristic of selflessness in all dharmas, having that sole lineage, therefore wanting to abandon the extremely obscured, exhausted, and accompanied things, and for those who seek meaning, it becomes meaning, this is called ultimate truth. Ultimate is the meaning of the object of non-inverted wisdom, that is, ultimate truth. The wisdom that transcends the world is also no different from illusion, etc., it is the true conventional truth.

This nature is also called ultimate because it is the realm of the ultimate. Whatever wisdom arises from hearing, thinking, and meditating, due to its nature of following after, is in accordance with the realization of the ultimate, so it is also nominally established. Because the meaning of non-reversed is the realm, it is the ultimate. Regarding the distinctions between conventional and ultimate truths, one should understand how to properly understand the respective origins and positions of the words that will be explained, as well as the times of realizing suchness. Among them, the ultimate, which is the nature of suchness, is where yogis who have completely abandoned all remaining defilements through cultivation will also realize the distinctions of the qualities of wisdom and so on, from higher to higher. Therefore, it is reasonable to refer to that as "holy" because it is the accomplisher of the great meaning. Wisdom is also ultimate because it abides in the complete and perfect accumulation of all qualities, so it is the accomplishment of the great meaning. The term "-ness" does not mean making something ultimate in a small way. This itself is the nature of true wisdom. When acting under the power of the ultimate, saying that there is no thing and no birth in the ultimate is established by true wisdom, so it is intended that these are unborn. Whatever is nominally established in the ultimate with the aspect of suchness is said to be non-existent and unborn. The ultimate, which is the nature of suchness, and the conventional, which is the nature of accumulation, are not simultaneous, not different entities, and it is not desired that the two are one. However, it is somewhat impossible to say that they are suchness and otherness, because there can be distinctions of thatness and otherness in the nature of accumulation and the nature of the ultimate. The nature of the general characteristic is also only that these two, thatness and otherness, cannot be spoken of because there is no thing in the ultimate. In the case of existing things, thatness and otherness can be distinguished, but if the nature of things does not exist, then it is impossible, so there is only non-contradiction. Because it is expressed in the manner of imputation of the object.
