Like an illusion. Emptiness destroys existence. Called unborn and emptiness. Called without characteristics and emptiness. Whatever is meditated upon with an inferior self. That is not meditation on this. All discriminations of virtue and non-virtue. Are characterized by the cessation of continuity. The Buddhas speak of emptiness. Elsewhere, emptiness is not desired. The mind that becomes without characteristics. Abides in the nature of space. Those who meditate on emptiness itself. Desire to meditate on space. Thus it is said. Since great compassion and all dharmas are produced by the absence of characteristics of self-nature, therefore, the emptiness of no characteristics, compassion, is meditated upon only by its own nature. The difference in the terms emptiness and compassion is made by negation, and the order for that is as follows. Having rejected all mental activities such as things and non-things in the five aggregates, and having gathered the mind on everything, not even a little should be thought of, for by that very thing the non-discriminating Bhagavati Prajnaparamita is generated, and after realizing individually and manifestly by her invisible yoga, that sentient being should also realize that all those who go in that way as their own nature, having been focused upon, great compassion of the nature of no characteristics arises, and by that wisdom and compassion, the nature of being inseparable, seeing that the two are non-dual and merged into one. The place and wisdom of that self With the characteristic of realizing that all dharmas are without self-nature, since Prajnaparamita and great compassion are inseparable, the nature of generating the mind of enlightenment on the path of union by the unity of the two, conventional and ultimate, the yoga of supreme non-discrimination, the eight realizations of the nature of all merit and wisdom, how the dissimilar aspects are rejected as appropriate, all the aspects that will be explained, how all are equally placed as appropriate, the state of being of one taste is what the Protector has established in the context of the twenty-two aspects of generating the mind.

Having risen from that, in the interval when not in equipoise, when relying on means such as giving, one should also meditate on that very faith, which is to be taught to accomplish this on the path of proceeding with union. The Blessed Mother has spoken having gathered and summarized here, and other instructions besides this are only spoken briefly. For the Great Mother, all ten are spoken of extensively. Here in the treatise it says: Practice and truths, and the Three Jewels such as the Buddha, without attachment, completely without weariness, and the path is completely grasped, the five eyes and the direct knowledge, the six qualities and the path of seeing, the instruction called meditation, should be known as the nature of ten. Thus it is said. Therein, one does not truly see forms and so forth and their emptiness as being slightly possessed or not possessed in any way. Those also, by their very nature, do not combine into different or non-different, so it should be understood to combine with the Perfection of Wisdom, which is the instruction on the truth of suffering. One does not truly see those with form and so forth as having the nature of arising and ceasing, and completely defiled and purified dharmas, and from form up to consciousness, emptiness is consciousness and consciousness is emptiness, thus completely abandoning the extremes of imputation and denial without distinction, is the truth of origin. Emptiness does not become arising, does not become ceasing, from not becoming increasing up to, there is no form and so forth, and no origin and cessation and path, from no Buddha no enlightenment, this is the truth of cessation. By practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, one does not truly see having or not having the six perfections and so forth, from not combining all-knowingness with the past and so forth, because of closely grasping the emptiness of the three times, this is the truth of the path. The six perfections are explained as the path, Buddhahood itself is all-knowingness. Therein, whatever combines the aggregates and all-knowingness, one does not truly
