has crossed over. Former state is the former birth, which is the recollection of it. Death and birth refer to the death and birth of sentient beings. Defilements refer to the afflictions. Whichever of those defilements have been exhausted, and by which path they have been exhausted, the exhaustion of both of those defilements. Regarding these places and non-places, the very knowledge that is completely correct in every way is power, because there is no other that can overcome it, and because it overwhelms them. 'Cannot overcome' means unable to overwhelm. Like a lion, utterly fearless, and fearless in speaking rationally, its fearlessness is of four kinds: fearlessness towards manifest enlightenment, fearlessness towards the exhaustion of defilements, fearlessness towards obstructing dharmas, and fearlessness towards dharmas of definite emergence. Manifest enlightenment refers to the Tathagata's perfect wisdom. Exhaustion of defilements refers to perfect abandonment, both of which are for one's own benefit. Obstructing dharmas refer to the obstacles to the dharma of nirvana. Dharmas of definite emergence refer to the means of attaining nirvana, both of which are also for the benefit of others, because by explaining these to others, they are fearless towards them, which is the meaning of its vow being fully established. Helpless ones refer to those without refuge, and their protector and refuge is the Buddha Bhagavan, whose action is by means of this completely perfect omniscient wisdom, possessing nine aspects. It is because this omniscient one possesses power that he spoke of samsara and so forth. Samsara refers to the five aggregates with defilements. Its antidote is the dharmadhatu, its destroyer, which is what is said to be permanent, the dharmadhatu is permanently abiding, because its essence is the same from beginning to end. If it becomes an antidote, then it will not become samsara from the beginning. The Perfection of Wisdom is first endowed with intelligence, therefore it is called the path that makes it more and more excellent. This itself is its antidote. This speaks of perfect abandonment, and perfect wisdom.

The stated non-aggregation means all phenomena. The nature of all phenomena is precisely the absence of inherent existence. Its distinction lies in the proclaimer, for oneself and others. For the sake of others, it is completely perfect, because there is not a single one that is not perfect. The Dharma wheel with twelve aspects, repeated three times, is the Dharma itself for teaching, because it revolves in the continuum of those to be tamed. Its turner is the Buddhas, because it is turned by them. Therein, the triple repetition of the Dharma wheel of the four truths is: "This is suffering," "This is the origin of suffering," "This is the cessation of suffering," "This is the path leading to the cessation of suffering." This is the first chapter on the nature of the four truths. Likewise, in order, one should fully know, one should fully abandon, one should realize, and one should cultivate. This is the second chapter. For its very self, one has fully known, abandoned, realized, and cultivated. This is the third chapter, which is the twelve aspects. In conventional truth, just as the momentary arising of a mother scorpion ceases, just as the cold of fire ceases, through the Perfection of Wisdom itself, erroneous knowledge will cease, which is the cause of the correct knowledge that will arise from before, and thus it ceases. In conventional truth, because it is not connected to anything, the correct knowledge of how to reasonably cease with the mind of enlightenment itself is the nature of the path of meditation. The stated excellence is "how," and so on. Abiding is abiding and with offerings, and so on. Attention is with the recollection of qualities, and so on. Prostration is with the three doors of body, speech, and mind. Why is this the cause of asking about the state? It is because of the excellence of the Bhagavati Mother. Without guidance is being separated from guidance. Without capacity is being unable to circumambulate, becoming blind is being like a blind person, this is excellence. From then on, again, and so on, the Perfection of Wisdom is the meditation of
