It is with investigation and analysis. By associating with investigation and analysis as an antidote to desire, the meaning of desire is accomplished. If one dwells in a state accompanied by joy and happiness due to the extreme pliancy of body and mind, one will individually experience it. The second is that, seeing the faults of investigation and analysis, etc., which agitate the mind, the mind turns away from them and abides in this. Having completely abandoned all investigation and analysis, one is associated with the extremely clear inner self by the very nature of being without investigation and without analysis. The third is that, with equanimity and right reasoning, like investigation and analysis, for the sake of joy and equanimity, together with mindfulness and awareness, one does not abandon the opportunity for joy. With these two, wisdom is applied many times, and with the physical body and mind, one is associated with the extreme pliancy of pleasure and suffering, and is accompanied by pleasure. The fourth is that there is neither pleasure nor suffering. Because the pleasant and unpleasant mental states of pleasure and suffering have been previously abandoned, with the fourth dhyana, pleasure is also completely purified with equanimous mindfulness, and thus extreme purity is attained here. Among these, the first dhyana has five branches: investigation and analysis are the branches of antidote, because these two are for abandoning desire, anger, harm, and investigation, etc. Joy and happiness are the branches of benefit. Single-pointedness of mind is the branch of support for both of these, and by the power of relying on samadhi, one can enter into the investigation of virtuous qualities, etc. The second has four branches: inner clarity is the branch of antidote, and the remaining branches are the same as before. The third has five branches: equanimity, mindfulness, and awareness are the branches of antidote, and pleasure is the branch of benefit. The branch of support is the same as before. The fourth has four branches: complete purity of equanimity and complete purity of mindfulness are the branches of antidote, and the experience of neither suffering nor pleasure is the branch of benefit. The branch of support is

As before. Among them, by meditating on the first dhyana, in the manner of small, medium, and large, one will be born in the Brahma-parisadya, Brahma-purohita, and Maha-brahma realms in order, and be equal to them. By meditating on the second dhyana, one will be associated with the Parittabha, Apramanabha, and Abhasvara realms. By meditating on the third dhyana, one will be associated with the Parittasubha, Subhakrtsna, and Apramanasubha realms. By meditating on the fourth dhyana, one will be associated with the Anabhraka, Punyaprasava, and Brhatphala realms. Thus, this is the praise of the four dhyanas. Above that are the five Pure Abodes, in which only the noble ones are born, this is the greatest reverence. Furthermore, like "others" etc., the excellent addition is as before, and the immeasurable has already been explained. The four formless realms, for the formless ones, if there are colors such as blue and yellow that obscure and obstruct, for those who dwell comfortably in various perceptions, by constantly meditating on the perception of space, all those appearances will no longer appear, and only space is infinite, this is the sphere of infinite space. Thus, it arises from and dwells in the sphere of infinite space. With what knowledge does one develop faith in the sphere of infinite space, and with that faith in the infinite, one completely turns away from the perception of space and enters the sphere of infinite consciousness. Approaching from the sphere of infinite consciousness, one will observe by focusing on the sphere of nothingness, and what is called "there is nothing at all" is the sphere of nothingness. One is also free from attachment to the perception of nothingness, and turning away from that, the perception of a little has already ceased, so in the absence of perception, the subtle perception is what is absorbed, and thus there is no perception. The samadhi of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception is the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and one will individually experience the attainment of the peak of existence. The establishment of the limbs, there is no other establishment of limbs other than these, because they are of one essence in calm abiding, this is reverence and
