So, how does this become an object? The term "non-entity" means that it does not take things as its object. The absence of things is non-duality, as said by Rabjor, non-duality is the absence of things. In the ultimate truth, there is nothing to be taken as an object, no agent of taking as an object, and no proliferation of objects. Because dependent arising itself is unborn in its essence, it cannot be taken as an object by the distinctions of being fully examined at the extremes and in the middle of existence and non-existence. Because children are afraid of the absence of an object, and because its depth cannot be fathomed, it is profound. As the noble Nagarjuna said: Because it transcends existence and non-existence, the mind does not abide in anything. In this way, he meditates on the meaning of profound, objectless dependent arising. Liberation from the extremes of clinging and denigration is profundity itself. For what, non-entity and non-non-entity, do not abide before the mind. There is no other realization for this, and from objectlessness, it is completely pacified, in the manner of self-nature pacification. In the state of not being in equipoise, one focuses on all phenomena as the nature of conventional and ultimate truths, but in the state of being in equipoise, one abides in the absence of any object, which is the reversal of all the proliferations of conceptualization, and so on. At the time of accomplishing the object, it is like beginning the edge, and the state of its fruit that will arise is the action for the sake of self-nature, like that which is to be signified. Regarding this, it is said in the treatise: The supreme mind of all sentient beings, abandonment, realization, and the three, by the self-arising of the three great ones, this is called the deed to be done. Self-arising means arising from oneself. For the Bodhisattvas, their deed to be done is to desire to attain perfect and complete enlightenment here, which is what is to be strived for. By the three great ones, one accomplishes the supreme mind of all sentient beings, and these three are mind, abandonment, and realization. Among these, the great mind is the vajra-like mind and so on. View

The meaning of showing the abandonment of all things is the great abandonment itself. Not being attached to the mind of enlightenment and so on is the great realization itself. Striving with great mind, great abandonment, and great realization is the great striving. Here, because it is the object of great striving, it refers to the great sentient being, which is the great sentient being. Here, with "that is the opportune time," etc., it is for the sake of realization, etc. The meaning of realization is that it does not cling to meaninglessness, so it is desire, that is, for that reason. The aggregate of sentient beings refers to the brief exposition, and "the class of sentient beings" refers to the extensive explanation. Its excellence is for the sake of being perfectly gathered by the Great Vehicle. The great excellence of the aggregate of sentient beings, such as dwelling in the entirety of samsara, is expressed by the great aggregate of sentient beings. From then on, etc., "that time" refers to the opportunity. Here, the four of us are said to be thirteen in the Great Mother Sutra, and all come from different tenets, but the meaning is the same. They differ only in the explanation of words. Among them, because it is the cause of clinging to self, it is "I." Because it is immersed in beings, it is "sentient being." Because of the power of the life force, the body of the same kind is exhausted and does not remain, so it is "life." Because it is born from the power of afflictions and karma, it is created and liberated. Because it is nourished by elements and other foods, it is "nourishment." Because it harms the body of a man, it is "man," but it is not endowed with the faculties of a man, because the men of the form realm themselves would become the fault of not being men. Also, because it repeatedly enters into beings, it is "pudgala." Because it mainly causes birth into beings through the karma of the mind, it is "powerful one." "Lord of power" is "power lord." Because it becomes a support through virtuous and other actions, it is "maker." Because it experiences the ripening of karma, it is "feeler." Because it is the place of the consciousness of the mind, it is "knower." Because it is the place of the five consciousnesses, such as the eye, it is "seer."
