Therefore, there is no harm of subsequent inference there. By distinguishing with "ultimately," there is no harm of believing in pleasant things without examination because of not examining. Therefore, the Bhagavan, considering all this, said: "Whatever is produced by conditions, that is unborn. Its birth is not inherently existent. Whatever depends on conditions is said to be empty. Whoever knows emptiness is diligent." Similarly, the subsequent inference that accords with the realization of suchness, whether it is the nature of thought or the nature of meditation, can thoroughly distinguish with wisdom as it is, thereby obtaining the burning of the firewood of all dharmas. That is, in all cases, like this, because it burns the firewood of the fabricated dharma, therefore, through the burning and thorough pacification of discrimination, one will enter the supreme state of nirvana characterized by the pacification of examination. As it says in the Root Wisdom: "Grasping at the real and the unreal, exhaustion is called nirvana." Therefore, the stream of non-conceptual transcendent wisdom, which is endless, only continues as long as space exists. Even the inverted nature of the supreme dharma enters into subsequent inference through aspiration and so on, and even if the object to be realized is obtained and is considered to be the separate realization of going everywhere in the dharmadhatu, this subsequent inference does not hinder the pacification of transcendent wisdom. Like firewood being consumed by fire, like excellent gold. Therefore, it says: "Because there is no object, it is extremely peaceful." This means that it is the wisdom of conceptual thought. Since there is no other way to realize suchness apart from the distinctions of the mode of examination and so on, therefore, here all the terms such as what is to be proven and what proves are all conventional truths. What is conventional truth? It is the deluded mind that fabricates things that are essentially without inherent existence as having inherent existence in an inverted way. Conventional truth is so called because it obscures and covers suchness here. Therefore, the fabricated thing is conventional.

Or, because it is not examinable, it is the conventional truth. The subsequent thought that enters with the non-inverted Suchness as its object, the wisdom arising from the power of that, arising from thought, and the direct perception arising from meditation, Suchness is not to be subsequently thought about. Its similar cause is called examination. Turning away from the meaning of Suchness, the consciousness that grasps all of this with the aspect of inverted sound and meaning is non-examination. It is not non-conceptual wisdom, nor is it merely the absence of things when conceptualized. Because of that fame, all of this does not exist from the nature of sound and meaning, so it is the conventional truth. Or, because it transcends the world and is believed, it is the conventional truth. Because the meaning that is most famous in the world, all of this is ultimately the conventional truth. The establishment of karma and fruit, etc., which are somewhat extremely hidden and individually determined in all aspects, cannot be known by others except for the omniscient wisdom. Therefore, wherever things are grasped as being permanent, etc., that is called the false conventional truth. Even if it is definitely grasped, it does not exist. These dharmas that are free from self, etc., are said to have causes and exist in the true conventional truth. Or, the five aggregates of the nature of consciousness and objects of consciousness are the conventional truth. The noble Nagarjuna said: 'What arises from causes and conditions, the other's power is the conventional truth, called the other's power, the ultimate truth is not artificial.' They arise from dependent origination, therefore it is the other's power. The nature of the five aggregates is like an illusion in the conventional truth, and in the ultimate truth it is the emptiness of the nature of no self-nature. If in the ultimate truth it transcends all elaboration, then what meaning does it accomplish, and thus wants to abandon these that are actually obscured, gone to the end, and are nothing? The answer is: Possessing the reason of Suchness, which has the nature of the selflessness of all dharmas, thereby wanting to abandon the extremely obscured, gone to the end, and pursuing meaning.
