Therefore, the first four manifested as Buddhas, namely: Wheel-destroying, Golden Silent, Light Protector, and Shakyamuni. For the sake of their teachings, wanting to teach equally, they said "these" etc. Maitreya also said after them for five thousand years "this is," meaning the teachings are equal. The chapter of explicit expression that is mainly spoken and completely pure is the chapter of purity. The commentary on the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Prajñāpāramitā, called "The Moonlight of Essential Meaning," was composed by the great Paṇḍita Fearless Source of Origin, the eighth chapter is complete. Wanting to learn the equality of the teachings just spoken, they said "from then on" etc. "Only a name" means the meaning of the name, it is not merely existence. "This is" means like this, above with what is equalized, the nature of things is equal in ultimate truth, and those expressed by name are all confused, that is not the existence of things. The conventional expressers are like echoes, if that is the case, then is there something to be expressed? If it is said that there is, then it is not visible here, because the two dharmas do not exist in ultimate truth, therefore there is no approachable object, the names of the expresser and the expressed are conventional, this is his intention. In this way, the non-existence of Prajñāpāramitā is to be realized, therefore one should learn the equality of the teachings. Why? It means by what cause does it not exist anywhere? It means that because of non-existence, one cannot directly realize Bodhi. It is also said that, it means that here you see that all dharmas are emptiness, similarly they will also directly realize Bodhi and proclaim it. Here it is from the perspective of the path of seeing, the scripture says: Suffering and other truths, Dharma knowledge and subsequent knowledge, The moment of patience and knowledge, This all-knowing principle, is the path of seeing. Dharma here refers to selflessness, knowing the object of Dharma is Dharma knowledge. Dharma knowledge and subsequent knowledge, as well as patience and Dharma knowledge, and other moments besides that.

Those are also of that nature. That is what the gradual teachings say: Form is not permanent, not impermanent, beyond extremes and pure, unborn and unceasing, etc., like the sky, abandoning attachment, liberated from complete grasping, inexpressible by nature, because by expressing this meaning with words, it cannot be given to others, making it without object, extremely pure and without disease, the evil destinies are cut off and the fruit, is what needs to be manifested and is non-conceptual. Not connected with signs, in things and names and both, there is no arising of knowledge, it is the moment of omniscience. Thus it is said. "Beyond extremes" means completely pure, the second moment is completely pure and completely pure, which is the third. "By expression" and "liberation" etc., the following connection of "because" is permissible. Thus, this is the sixteen moments of the path of seeing of the nature of omniscience, in which two moments are spoken of by "thus also" etc. Form etc. is not permanent, not bound, not liberated, not existing by itself, that is not connected with impermanence etc., it is said to be the forbearance of knowledge of the Dharma of suffering. Form etc. is extremely permanent and pure, it is said to be the knowledge of the Dharma of suffering. Thus it is said etc., the completely pure form etc., is empty by being extremely pure, because it is separated from non-emptiness, it is said to be the forbearance of the subsequent knowledge of the Dharma of suffering. Form etc. is without birth and without cessation by being extremely pure, without all afflictions, without the nature of purification, it is said to be the subsequent knowledge of the Dharma of suffering. All dharmas are like the sky without birth etc., the sky etc. is said to be the forbearance of the knowledge of the Dharma of origination. Like the sky, all dharmas are not stained by anything, so the Prajnaparamita is completely pure, it is said to be the knowledge of the Dharma of origination. Dharmas are like the sky without complete grasping, so the Prajnaparamita is completely pure, it is said to be the forbearance of the subsequent knowledge of the Dharma of origination. Sky etc.
