Is it among all things? The Blessed One said: It exists in the symbols and names of the world, but not in the ultimate sense. Reported: As I understand the meaning of what the Blessed One said, the ultimate is the inexpressible realm of reality. If the object of characteristics of formations is the inexpressible realm, then the name is also this. The Blessed One said: When you practice wisdom in the inexpressible realm, the aspect of this object is the object of characteristics. Reported: Blessed One, it is not so. The Blessed One said: Thus, for the sake of itself, it is neither itself nor other. If it becomes other, then why will it not perish? If it is not other, then why is it not visible? Furthermore, if this is other than the characteristic of formations, then all ordinary beings will be completely liberated from suffering and attain perfect and complete enlightenment. If it is not other, then that characteristic will also become invisible. Reported: When dwelling in the inexpressible realm and the wisdom practice closely related to it, where is the object of characteristics of formations not visible? Is it not visible from existence, or is it not visible from non-existence? The Blessed One said: When it is grasped and understood by discrimination, or not understood, then it is only discrimination. For it, this is neither existence nor non-existence. Reported: Blessed One, I will fully establish the three aspects of Dharma nature, namely, the completely imputed aspect, the dependent aspect, and the nature aspect. Among the Buddha's teachings, there are the completely imputed, the dependent Buddha's teachings, and the nature Buddha's teachings. Among them, relying on the name, establishment, and terminology of the object of characteristics of formations called "form," completely clinging to the nature of form, that is the completely imputed form. The object of characteristics of formations

That which exists in those things is the form that is conceptually imputed. The form that is completely imputed, for that form that is conceptually imputed, is always without essence, without self, and suchness, and the ultimate limit, that is the form of the nature of reality. Likewise, from the form that is completely imputed, to the form that is conceptually imputed and the form of the nature of reality, connect with the dharmas of the Buddhas. Among these, the form that is thoroughly imputed does not exist as a substance. The form that is conceptually imputed does exist as a substance, but it is not the case that one engages at will in viewing conceptualization as existing as a substance. The form of the nature of reality is neither non-existent as a substance, nor existent as a substance, but is distinguished by the nature of reality. Likewise, it is the same up to the dharmas of the Buddhas. Question: What the Bhagavan said, from "like this, form is counted as non-dual" up to "dharmas of the Buddhas," how is that? The Bhagavan said: That which is the form that is completely imputed is not form, because there is no entity, and also because it is not form in name. That which is the form that is conceptually imputed is not form, because it is not independent. Non-form is the form that is conceptually imputed. That which is the form of the nature of reality is not form, because it is devoid of form. Non-form is also the form of ultimate reality. Therefore, this is counted as a non-dual number, and should be connected up to the dharmas of the Buddhas. Question: Thus, having abandoned the two extremes and entered the Middle Way, from form up to the dharmas of the Buddhas, how does one completely understand the characteristics, abandon the characteristics, manifest the characteristics, and how does one meditate on the characteristics? The Bhagavan said: That which is neither completely understanding form, nor not completely understanding form, that itself is the complete understanding of it. Likewise, neither meditating nor not meditating, it should be connected up to the dharmas of the Buddhas. Question: The Bodhisattva thus
