Chapter Eight: Expressing the Manifest Realization of the Dharmakaya's Enlightenment. Chapter Eight: Expressing the Manifest Realization of the Dharmakaya's Enlightenment. The eighth manifest realization is the Dharmakaya. Its essence is also fourfold: the three kayas and activity. As previously stated: "The essence, complete enjoyment, and so forth, likewise, the other is the emanation, and the Dharmakaya, together with activity, are truly spoken of as four aspects." That is what was said. Dharma is the path, and it is also different here, being the characteristics of the seven manifest realizations of the chapters. Then, the kaya attained through dharma is the Dharmakaya; kaya is the body. The three bodies of the Buddhas are the three kayas. From the Bhagavan Great Mother, whatever is the nature of all completely pure and uncontaminated dharmas in every way, that is to be known as the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha. Furthermore, by realizing those very dharmas, in order to manifestly and completely awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, with a body adorned with the thirty-two marks and excellent signs, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha teaches the supreme dharma of the supreme vehicle to the Bodhisattvas, in order to enjoy unsurpassed joy, bliss, and exceedingly joyful bliss. Furthermore, by realizing those very dharmas, manifestly and completely awakening to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, the various clouds of emanations of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, constantly accomplish the benefit of sentient beings in the infinite and boundless realms of the ten directions, as it is said. In the Ornament of the Sutras, it is said: "By the three kayas, the body of the Buddha, is to be known as gathered and collected; by body and speech, the meaning of self and others, this is shown with a basis." Thus it is said. Therefore, the four aspects, by the distinction of the three kayas and activity, are the display of the Dharmakaya, wherein essence is nature, and only essence is essence. Or, the utmost purity that transforms into essence in that very essence is the Svabhavikakaya (自性身,svabhāvikakāya). Complete enjoyment

It becomes the meaning of, so it is complete enjoyment. Emanation is emanation. The body accomplished therein is the emanation itself. Regarding the Dharmakaya, it is said in the scriptures: "The self-nature body of the Buddha, in the flawless Dharmakaya, whoever is completely pure, they possess self-nature." It is said that their self-nature is the Dharma-nature, which is the Dharmadhatu. The Dharmadhatu is not the Tathagata, because it is too extreme. However, the Dharmadhatu is pure. Thus, it also surpasses the Buddha-ground, and the Buddha encompasses it in five ways. What are the five? They are the completely pure Dharmadhatu, the mirror-like wisdom, the wisdom of equality, the wisdom of discernment, and the wisdom of accomplishment. If asked, the completely pure Dharmadhatu is the extremely pure Dharmadhatu, because there is no difference between the extremely pure Dharmadhatu and the Dharma-nature. Therefore, it is said in the sutras that because the circle of sunlight appears infinitely, one should also understand that Prajnaparamita is infinite. Thus, abandoning all faults such as fear, it is like pure crystal. Among them, those other than the moon and the sun are metaphors for the liberated bodies of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. The moon and the sun are like pure crystal balls, and this is even more superior, because it spreads a network of light in the ten directions, which is a metaphor for the liberated bodies of the Buddhas who generate infinite wisdom in the infinite knowable realms. Therefore, it is also called the Dharmakaya, because it is the basis of infinite Dharma. Here, the infinite wisdom born from the completely pure Dharmadhatu is Prajnaparamita. With the metaphor of the appearance of the circle of sunlight, it should be known that it appears in the infinite knowable realms. Thus, the purity of the Buddhadharmas is the Dharmadhatu, like the sun. It is also Prajnaparamita, which is the light of the sun.
