By meditating on the nature of that itself many times, it makes a difference until the unsurpassed enlightenment. This is the activity of rejoicing in emptiness. All dharmas are empty by nature, and emptiness by nature is not other. All dharmas are also not other, but emptiness by nature is dharma. That itself is emptiness by nature. This is the activity of rejoicing in the non-duality of dharma. There is no dharma by which the Bhagavan attained perfect and complete enlightenment. There is also no one who manifestly and completely awakened. From the aggregates and elements, etc., up to the all-knowingness, teaching the dharma is a worldly term. This is the activity of rejoicing by knowing the imputation. If one trains in all the dharmas such as the perfections, one cannot attain perfect and complete enlightenment. But if one also practices those and does not fixate on the results of the three spheres, then one can attain perfect and complete enlightenment. This is the activity of rejoicing in the absence of an object of focus. If a Bodhisattva also practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not fixate on sentient beings and the imputation of sentient beings. However, seeing the conventional truth, sentient beings fixate on things, and become completely afflicted. For the sake of abandoning those, he completely matures the three vehicles. This is the activity of rejoicing in completely maturing sentient beings. When he practices each perfection, etc., he teaches sentient beings all virtuous dharmas and the emptiness of all dharmas. This is the activity of rejoicing in the path of a Bodhisattva. When he reflects in this way, all dharmas are emptiness, and he does not cling to emptiness. Therefore, one should meditate without clinging to all dharmas, and practice generosity, etc., and one should not be arrogant about those three spheres. This is the activity of rejoicing in abandoning all clinging. Enlightenment is not attained by the path, nor is it attained by the non-path.

Why is enlightenment itself the path? The path is enlightenment. If that is the case, will the Bodhisattva himself become a Buddha? When the Bodhisattva has completely perfected all the Buddha's teachings, and dwells in the Vajra-like Samadhi, with the wisdom of a single moment, when he attains perfect and complete enlightenment, at that time, he is the Thus-Gone One, the All-Knowing One who possesses all vision. This is the activity of establishing the attainment of enlightenment. He, from the corruption of his own and others' morality, is completely encompassed by the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, and does not distinguish between the unfavorable aspects of the six perfections, and the manifestation and touching of the five fruits of the lesser vehicle, eliminating the perverted clinging to all phenomena with and without outflows, and himself abides in the virtuous dharmas such as the perfections, and also causes others to abide in these dharmas, and shares his own roots of virtue with all sentient beings, completely dedicating them to perfect and complete enlightenment and omniscience, and to purifying his own Buddha-field, and for the sake of purifying the Buddha-field, he also makes vows as stated in the sutras. This is the activity of establishing the complete purification of the Buddha-field. If the Bodhisattva, from the very first moment of generating the mind of enlightenment, is certain to attain perfect and complete enlightenment, since it is certain, how could he be born in the lower realms? Those who have generated the mind of perfect and complete enlightenment, practice the six perfections and the four immeasurables, and abide in order to abandon the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, even the eight unfree states will not occur, let alone falling into the lower realms? Although this is the case, they are born as animals because they possess all the dharmas of the roots of virtue with and without outflows, so they intentionally take birth for the sake of benefiting sentient beings. They are not experiencing the suffering of animals, for example

The Tathagata, having attained supreme mastery, is like simultaneously emanating limitless forms of himself in all realms of the world for the benefit of others. This is the activity of bestowing certainty upon perfect and complete enlightenment. Abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom, even though he benefits sentient beings in as many world realms as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River in the ten directions, he is not tainted by faults. This is because the three dharmas—that which is touched, that which touches, and that upon which one touches—are not perceived in him, and he focuses on emptiness. He will abide in all white dharmas, for he has gathered them together. Therefore, all dharmas are empty of all dharmas, and thus they are gathered into emptiness. This is the activity of bestowing immeasurable benefit upon sentient beings. He should contemplate thus: all the Tathagatas who dwell in as many world realms as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River in the ten directions are empty of inherent existence. They are merely designated by names and symbols, and that designation is also empty of inherent existence. If there were something that was not empty, then because it is not ephemeral, all dharmas are only empty of all dharmas. Abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom, he cultivates the six superknowledges, and abiding in them, he goes to the presence of all the Tathagatas in the ten directions, serves and honors them, listens to the Dharma, generates roots of virtue that are unsurpassed from them, and does not cling to emptiness. With the divine eye, he looks upon the sentient beings of the world realms in the ten directions, and through the superknowledge of miraculous power, he goes there and teaches them the Dharma. With the divine ear, he hears the Dharma being taught by all the Buddhas in the ten directions, and he teaches it to them. Having understood the variety of minds of sentient beings, he teaches them the Dharma according to their minds. He remembers many former lives of himself and others, and remembering the Dharma taught by the former Tathagatas, he teaches it to those whose minds are to be tamed.
