This chapter explains the discriminations to be abandoned through the path of seeing. Therefore, in order to explain that the discriminations to be abandoned through the path of seeing are abandoned by the path of seeing, it is said, "Subhuti, therefore," and so on. Among them, "therefore" is the reason. "In that case" refers to the time of seeing the path. Prajñāpāramitā is the nature of the path of seeing, and it is practiced on this path. The reason for asking "Why is that?" is to inquire about the reason for the nature of the path of seeing. Here, the Prajñāpāramitā mentioned is the Dhyana Pāramitā, which should be understood here with the word "also." Therefore, this is an abbreviation of what was not said. If asked how it is known to be Prajñāpāramitā, "Subhuti" and so on are declared, and it is related to "the completion of cultivation is the six pāramitās." The so-called "all" means that each has a collection, meaning that each gathers six. Therefore, the six sets of six pāramitās are the path of seeing. Bhagavan, this mother scripture is abbreviated here, so only the nature is mentioned here, but everything is truly gathered in each one. The extensive explanation of it is declared in the Great Mother Scripture. Here, the treatise says: "Generosity and so on, each one, Those that are mutually gathered, The forbearance of a single moment, The gatherer is the path of gathering here." It means that each one itself is each one, and its essence is each one itself. Therefore, "generosity and so on, each one" refers to generosity and so on. The mutual of "generosity and so on" is one to one, and whatever is contained therein is the direct realization of the peak of the path of seeing, and it is only a moment, not sixteen moments. Moreover, it is truly grasped by forbearance, not the eight forbearances and eight wisdoms. This is the direct realization of the peak of the path of seeing. After that, the path of meditation is declared as "all skillful means," and so on, because it is means and skillful, it is skillful means. The lion's leap and the samadhi of transcending the crown of the head are means.

That is because it is dependent origination. The wise person is one who observes dependent origination in accordance with the law and contrary to the law. Conditioned by ignorance is action. Conditioned by action is consciousness, and so forth. Conditioned by birth is aging and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, suffering, displeasure, and confusion arise, which is in accordance with the law. With the cessation of ignorance, action ceases. With the cessation of action, consciousness ceases, and so forth. With the cessation of birth, aging and death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, displeasure, and confusion cease, which is contrary to the law. Among these, the lion's springing samadhi is as follows: Having entered the first dhyana, then entering the second, third, and fourth dhyanas, as well as the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and the cessation attainment. Having arisen from the cessation attainment, one enters the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Then one enters the sphere of nothingness. Then one enters the sphere of infinite consciousness. Then one enters the sphere of infinite space. Then one enters the fourth dhyana, the third, the second, and the first dhyana. The surpassing samadhi is as follows: Having entered the first dhyana, then entering the second, third, and fourth dhyanas, as well as the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and having entered cessation, having arisen from that, one enters the first dhyana. Then one enters cessation. Then one enters the second dhyana. Then one enters cessation. Then one enters the third dhyana. Then one enters cessation. Then one enters the fourth dhyana. Then one enters cessation. Then one enters the sphere of infinite space. Then one enters cessation. Then one enters the sphere of infinite consciousness. Then one enters cessation. Then one enters the sphere of nothingness. Then one enters cessation. Then one enters non-perception.
