Beginning from..., the term "studying Prajñāpāramitā" indicates the benefits. Is non-attachment itself the object of focus? It is the unobstructed wisdom itself. Measure is the certainty of vastness. Exhaustion is the certainty of time. The end is the certainty of number. The limit being cut off is being completely cut off by measure. The term "because it is immeasurable" is because it is non-objective. Exhaustion is intermediate. Complete exhaustion is non-existence. The term "because space is inexhaustible" is because it is inexhaustible like space. The term "because of what" is saying that all phenomena are without arising. Because all phenomena are without arising, therefore they are the nature of non-objectivity. Prajñāpāramitā is also inexhaustible like space. The term "manifestly accomplished" means having been made manifest. The term "form and so on are without exhaustion" is because they are without arising. Similarly, ignorance and so on are also. Among these, the term "this" means that the aggregates and ignorance and so on are also because of being inexhaustible. The two extremes are arising and ceasing. The middle is arising and abiding. Unmixed is not being in common with that. The term "no dharma whatsoever is seen" means completely grasping the aggregates. Because of what? Because of seeing dependent origination. The term "permanent" means without beginning and end. Steadfast is abiding. Constant is without end. The term "agent or experiencer" means without an actor and a taker. From "Subhuti, this" to "will not be fathomed" is easy to understand. From this point onwards, the nature of enlightenment that knows exhaustion and non-arising is taught. In the treatise it says: 'The wisdom that is exhaustion of defilements and non-arising, is called enlightenment; because exhaustion and non-arising, therefore those, should be known in order.' It is said like this. Defilement is the conceptualization of afflictions. That wisdom of exhaustion and non-arising is enlightenment, and that wisdom also, for those that are exhaustion and non-arising, should be known in order. Knowing that exhaustion is forever non-existent is knowing exhaustion, and knowing that there is forever no arising, is thinking that knowing no arising is like that.

So. If there is another characteristic of enlightenment, why is this explained? When the conceptualizations are exhausted by the path of seeing, it is the meaning of seeing the exhaustion and non-arising as they are. That is: In the nature of non-cessation, by the path called seeing, what kind of conceptualizations are exhausted? What kind of unborn nature is attained? It is said. The nature of conceptualizations is suchness, and at no time does it have exhaustion and arising. The kind itself is the kind, that is, the nature. Therefore, the path of seeing does not cause any nature of conceptualization to be exhausted or abandoned. Others say: Exhaustion, knowledge, truth, etc., are complete knowledge, etc. Also, knowledge is inaction, etc., meaning the unborn Dharma. They say so. Those people think that the aggregates and the four truths exist, therefore, in short, afflictions and suffering are exhausted, and non-arising is attained. The wisdom of attaining them is the knowledge of exhaustion and non-arising. Mainly, the Tathagata has also abandoned the obscurations of knowledge, because their non-afflictive ignorance is also exhausted. In order to dispel it, it is said in the treatise: Saying that all dharmas also exist, and that the obscurations of knowledge are also exhausted, whatever other teachers say, I am surprised by this. There is nothing to dispel in this, and nothing to add. Look at reality as it is, and if you see it as it is, you will be liberated. It is said. The sound called "saying" is unbearable. To this, I am surprised, meaning that it is considered that it should not be incompatible and remedial. Therefore, there is nothing to dispel in this, meaning that the person and the dharma themselves do not exist. There is nothing to add, meaning that the selflessness of the person and the dharma has no beginning and no end. However, for both of these, reality should be viewed as reality. Because, if you see the reality of the selflessness of the person, you can be liberated from the afflictive obscurations; if you see the reality of the selflessness of the dharma, you can be liberated from the obscurations of knowledge. That is also like an illusion, and the essence of
