Emptiness is the realm of dharma, because it is the cause of all dharmas. Because of its immutability, it constantly abides as it is, which is suchness. If one clings to characteristics and abandons impermanence, suffering, emptiness, etc., what is the use? This is what a foolish person asks, saying, "Why is that?" The meaning is, why cling to the characteristics of emptiness, etc., here? "Sons of the gods," etc., is the answer. "Is" means "because." Because it does not abide, is like the sky, and is not established by anyone. Among them, in order to establish that it is like the sky, it is said, "These characteristics are," etc. "Counted as form" means in the characteristics of form, etc. In order to strongly establish non-abiding, it is said, "These characteristics are," etc. It does not rely on form, etc., because form, etc., are empty in nature, and also in these forms, etc., there are no characteristics of form, etc. The cessation like the sky is like the sky. In order to strongly establish that it is not established by anyone, it is said, "These characteristics are," etc. Form, etc., are without self-nature, so there is nowhere to abide. Impermanence and suffering, etc., do not exist like it, because they are the imputation of children, so they should not be respected. This is knowing no birth and no cessation, etc., is the fourth. "Dharma nature and no confusion," etc., it is said, "These characteristics are," etc. "Moving" means disturbing and awakening. "Only these characteristics" means knowing it as it is. If any characteristic contradicts any characteristic, that is harm, and that characteristic is not like that. This is knowing dharma nature and no confusion, is the fifth. Regarding "not harmonizing," it is said, "These characteristics are," etc. "Not established by anyone" means vow.

Aba'o. "Because of being uncreated" is called reason. "Like the sky" is called example. If those were not established by the Tathagata, then how would he accomplish his own benefit and the benefit of others, and how would he be a Tathagata? Therefore, he said, "Therefore, the Blessed One," etc., which is easy to understand. This is knowing non-action, the sixth. By way of the term "non-discrimination." From "Therefore, the Blessed One" to "Buddhahood" is spoken. Those who are fully enlightened are non-discriminating, therefore, profound. This is knowing non-discrimination, the seventh. "Discrimination of no-characteristicness" means knowing the discrimination of characteristics and knowing the meaning of no-characteristicness. Among them, by way of the term "discrimination of characteristics." "Like this," etc., is spoken. All unobstructed wisdom is unattached wisdom. Because they themselves make the discrimination of the characteristics of all dharmas. This is knowing discrimination, the eighth. By way of the term "no-characteristicness." From "Unattached wisdom" to "is the teacher" is spoken. Unattached wisdom is without object. Its field of activity is the Prajnaparamita, and those who abide in it do not perceive any characteristics in all characteristics, whether it is the destructible characteristic of form, or the characteristic of feeling, or the characteristic of direct experience, all-knowing wisdom. The rest is easy to understand. This is knowing no-characteristicness, the ninth. By the category of path wisdom, by the category of the characteristics of wisdom, it is the collection of the characteristics of wisdom. It is called the conclusion. He relies on the Dharma, dwells and acts with reverence, the teacher and joy, offering to him and without deceit, and what is the all-pervading wisdom, and showing the unseen, and the aspect of the emptiness of the world, and speaking and knowing, making direct experience, and the difference of thought.

It reveals the nature of tranquility itself. To cease worldly perceptions, the nature of all-knowing is said to be the characteristic of wisdom. This was spoken. This is spoken from "How, Subhuti?" to the end of the chapter. This also relies on wisdom, so it is placed in the seventh. "To this Dharma" means the teaching. "Prajnaparamita" means the explanation. The basis for the Dharma to abide is substance, not space. Therefore, it relies and abides only on the Dharma. This itself is the wisdom that relies and abides on the Dharma. "To honor the Dharma" means the wisdom of showing respect. "To make it one's teacher" means the wisdom of making it one's teacher. "To make an image" means the wisdom of pleasing. "In that, there is no offering or doer," means that in that, there is no nature of offering or doer. The wisdom of offering in that is spoken from "offering" to "knowing what has been done." If one asks, "What is the reason why the Tathagatas honor this?" Therefore, Subhuti speaks of the Prajnaparamita and so on. Why is that? If it is said that it is the Dharmata of all Dharmas, although it is so, one should contemplate from "always honoring this" to "making requests." "Subhuti" and so on are the answer. To distinguish well is to be completely perfect. If one says, "Although one distinguishes well from this, why honor this?" Therefore, "repaying kindness" and so on are spoken. "What, Subhuti?" and so on accomplish those very things well through the nature of repaying kindness. "To the Tathagata" means to hold firmly. What is the nature of repaying that kindness? Therefore, Subhuti and so on are spoken, which is easy to understand. This is the wisdom of offering in that. "The nature of no doer" means Subhuti again and so on are spoken. By knowing that Dharmas are unmade, therefore, with the definitive words of repaying kindness and knowing what has been done, it is meant to be a later negation. This is the wisdom of the nature of no doer. Subhuti and so on.
