Therefore, afflictions are homeless, they do not truly reside in the nature of mind, because they are merely temporary. In "naturally luminous" and so forth, the nature of mind, naturally luminous, is stainless. This is the sixth point, knowing that the mind is not entirely afflicted. Furthermore, the two words "Subhuti" and so forth explain the second point. In "groundless decay," "groundless" means without a place to dwell. Groundlessness itself decays. The decay of mind has no self-nature, because the nature of mind is without arising or ceasing. Unseizable means that those minds are not to be seized. Not seizing is unseizable. Because the word "very" itself has a negative meaning. It refers to entering or arising. This is the seventh point, knowing the decay and unseizability of mind. Furthermore, the two words "Subhuti" explain the third point. Absence of essence means that things themselves do not exist. Non-existence is absence of essence. These cause the mind to leak, therefore they are "leaks," which are the pervasive conceptualizations of what does not exist. Corresponding to this, therefore, it is "with leaks." Why? Because the pervasive conceptualization of what does not exist is the conceptualization of desire, form, and the formless realms. In "the state of non-existence of things" and so forth, "non-existence of things" is emptiness. In this, there is such a state, therefore it is called "suchness," therefore it is spontaneously accomplished. Because it is liberated from the leaks of desire, form, and the formless realms, it is therefore called "without leaks." This is the eighth point, knowing the mind with leaks and without leaks. Regarding "with attachment" and so forth, it refers to knowing being connected with attachment, and being separated from attachment; knowing being connected with hatred, and being separated from hatred; knowing being connected with delusion, and being separated from delusion. Among them, the first two words, "Subhuti, furthermore" and so forth, explain "the mind connected with attachment" and so forth. The mind connected with attachment is not the nature of mind.

Yes. Therefore, non-attachment means attachment. Whatever is said about being separated from the mind, separation is emptiness. That is not attachment, that itself means being separated from attachment, this refers to knowing the mind is attached and detached, this is the ninth. Furthermore, the two verses spoken by the Blessed One, "Subhuti" etc., are easy to understand. This refers to knowing the mind is with anger and without anger, this is the tenth. Furthermore, the two sentences spoken by the Blessed One, "Subhuti" etc., refer to the third, this refers to knowing the mind is with ignorance and without ignorance, this is the eleventh. The scriptures say: vast, becoming vast, immeasurable, etc. Vast means wide, referring to the place that takes all objects of the desire realm as its object, etc. Becoming vast refers to taking form as its object, because the form realm is superior to the desire realm. Taking the formless as its object, and taking the three ways as its object and not taking it as its object, is immeasurable. Therefore, the scriptures say that knowing these three is knowing that the mind is vast from the Great Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, knowing that the mind is becoming vast, and knowing that the mind is immeasurable. The Blessed One did not focus on immeasurable here, but abbreviated it and used it in conjunction with "relying on this." Vast and non-vast, becoming vast and non-becoming vast, immeasurable, these three are known here: knowing vast and non-vast, becoming vast and non-becoming vast, knowing immeasurable. Furthermore, the first two sentences spoken by the Blessed One, "Subhuti, the Tathagata" etc., completely unsatisfied is vast. Negating being in accordance with this is the state of not being in accordance. Because it prevents not following each other separately, it is included in complete dissatisfaction from the nature of the Dharma, therefore it is non-vast. The scriptures say: those minds do not decrease etc. Not decreasing means no decrease, therefore it is non-non-vast. Not increasing means no increase, therefore it is non-vast.
